i absolutely agree with you! first of all, whoever says, "Crocheting is for grandmas" is bias and WRONG!!! Though i do not crochet myself, i hope that you have fun and make sure that nobody tries to tell you that you are like a granny or whatever. have fun crocheting!! <33

Absolutely not! Me and 3 other girls, youngest being 24, oldest 28, get together once a week after work and go corchet and knit at a nearby bar in San Francisco. It is a great way to hang out with your friends!

Crochet is fun, but it is entirely different from knitting. With crochet, you are making a series of knots with one hand, and you can go in any direction. With knitting, you are making a fabric of loops with two hands, and your brain gets involved.
I enjoy both so much, I can't imagine comparing them!

LOL believe it or not they had a bunch of us GI's doing it at the VA. After hand damage or trauma it helps get the mobility back in your hands.
