Unless you've gotten even the smallest inclination from him he may be remotely interested, keep your feelings to yourself. You may feel some sort of emotion for this other human, but why do you think by telling him he must return those same type of feelings? What if he doesn't return them? You'll not only feel like a complete fool, but you will then turn what you foolishly thought was love into resentment and blame him for what was from the very start a stupid mistake, totally blown out of all proportion by someone who should have at least, pretended to know better. You will now justify anything you say or do by wondering if you don't make the first move he may not and forever will dream of what might have been. That movie has been remade too many times in the heads and daydreams of people just like you. Go get a soda and concentrate on something more productive and leave nature to do the job it has been doing these so many years. You'll meet Mr.Right, or Mr. Wrong, as soon as you stop looking so desperately for him in every corner.

I've been there, done that. I know exactly how you feel. When feelings arise like that, taking the direct approach isn't alwayz the wise course although it is one alternative. You can shy away the dude if he's not 'all' interested in you. So my advice to you is to get to know him a little and who his friends are and get info about him and use that to your advantage. Go in slow and then head for the kill. Read in between the lines sorry that i can't really walk you through the whole ordeal.

Is he in your dance class or something because you're asking this question listed on "dancing". Ok, well, to answer your question: If you're afraid to tell a guy you like him, you can start by giving him clues or do something that can make him notice you. Like wear a good perfume and walk pass him. Hope it works and maybe he'll say something nice to you. That's a start. Good luck.

I think that you can tell him in other ways (if you can't do it directly) such as a flirty look, playing with your hair, etc.
Just a reminder and for more answers, this question should be under the category Family and Relationships (it has nothing to do with dancing).

I think a good way to start out is find the right category! It's OK sweetie, many people get it confused, sadly. This is DANCING. Not DATING.

If you are younger than 16, ask a friend to sound him out.
If you are older than 17 step up to the plate, lady!
Good luck!
