I think it's the fact that Caucasians eventually conquered the New World and so Europeans immigrated to America. The land was billed as free of religious persecution. Movements to Africa and Asia had occurred at different times in history, and they didn't fully conquer the lands, except for a few, so immigration eventually slowed.
If not mistaken, South Africa and Australia are two of the few far-away nations that have a significance/majority of population with European ancestry.

Actually they did settle in Africa and Asia. Most of Africa was settled by Europeans....Asia: Australia, New Zealand, Malaysia, India, China. However, the settlers got kicked out of most of those countries.

I think they tried in South Africa, The Dutch settled there. As for Asia I think they were a little too savage back then and most Europeans avoided the area except for trade.

Wasn't it because the world was flat and they just had to cross that expanse of water to see what was on the other side. And b'ys, they found Newfoundland, so can ya blame them for wanting to pitch their tents?

They thought it was sparsely populated and would have no problems with the natives. You do they were leaving Europe to be free in their religious beliefs. They 'protested' being Catholic and that's why they were called 'Protestants'.
