No. Bad idea. I'd find personal calls of this nature very irritating. It is disrespectful to call someone at work without their permission, be it a man or be it a woman. The only exeption is when your businesses are related and you are actually making a business call.

NO! Absolutely not! If it were me I would feel like that was a bit much. I don't even call my mom at work. Most people aren't even allowed personal calls on the clock. I wouldn't suggest it. Try calling her answering machine or voice mail and leaving a message for her to get when she returns home from work. Letting her know that you were thinking of her but didn't want to disturb her while working. She might just find that as a welcome highlight to a stressful day! Good luck!

It may be worth the effort. She may be impressed that you wanted to speak to her enough to find her.

If she told you where she works and her name, then it's easy enought to find her phone number.
To be safe call after hours and leave a message.
If she calls you back, you know you did the right thing.

Better to call away from the job unless she mentioned it was fine to call her. Some jobs do not really like personal calls.

If your interest is business related to her position within that company, then yes. If it's a personal interest, send a friendly bouquet of flowers and invite her to make contact with you.
