Someone just told me and i don't seem to believe it, i loved reading the books as a little girl. Would anyone know which books are being referred to, that is, if all that is true?

For instance, unless you search, most of the questions are quite purile. This could be an interesting tool but I wonder if many interesting people are put off by the featured page of questions and their constant teenage type content. This leads me to another question but I think i will ask that one seperately - be interesting to see if answers are similar.

It's in his memoir, "Running with Scissors". There's a passage in it where he describes being at his mom's therapists house and everyone is laughing because the dog is licking their grandson's erect penis (kid is a toddler). I can't stop thinking about it and feeling sick to my stomach! Why is this bothering me so much?

It circulates around this guy that moves to a new town where everyone is a vampire. It is juvenile fiction. I read it in eight grade, because I like vampire stories. It is a fairly new book, I think. Maybe 5 years old at the oldest. 2-3 years at the youngest. I cannot think of the title and it bothers me.
