They've changed my Evian for some sports drink that our producer has bought as a job lot now they can't sell it at airports or some such nonsense. My union are unimpressed and my agent is on holiday as usual. Am I expected to buy my own water because of some National emergency?

Is it true that most people, when they share a name from a Biblical character, got that name from the Bible, or there was a influence from the Bible?

This is a question that can go either way. I am just wondering. I've known people who are of a different faith, who share a Biblical name, so it's not DEFINITELY true that when someone names their kid from BIblical characters, but i'm sure a LOT of times it is true.

U.S. Senator Joseph Lieberman is Jewish, yet he has the name of the husband of the Virgin Mary, who is THE most famous person named "Joseph" in History. Yes, Joseph, Mary, AND Jesus were all Jewish, so one might say that the name fits, but he was obviously no "ordinary" Joseph living in those days. I don't know of any other Joseph's in history that are as a big of influence from where LIeberman could have been named.

So, if anyone has an opinion, lets hear it.

But I wanna know the exact answer in the sense that, it is clear that he wrote on so many themes in his plays, verse but was there any special purpose of his writings according to his age i.e Elizabethan Age, as writers do so not only for the sake of Entertainment but to evolve some type of spirit needed in that time.

I know about name generators and everything, but I couldn't find the inspiration because this name is for an outcast elf. I need the name to be vulgar or have a vulgar meaning because it was given by those who hate him. Update in an hour or two.

I was reading "Jimmy the hand" earlier, and they made reference to "Foul 'Ol Ron" (The sentence is near the end. "They circled for an instant, with breath nearly as bad as Foul ol’ Ron’s issuing from the mercenary")

Was the author reading Discworld just before writing this? or is this a case of parallel evolution.

There's two definitions for smokescreen:one is to mask the movement like in the miltary, the other is to mislead or confuse someone. Those are according to wikipedia and to M-W.com.

Which one do you like? The one with the most answers is the winner. Or if you have any alternatives, let me know?

I believe god is very powerful, but not as powerful as most people think, and as described in the bible.

I don't believe god can control everything. As we know, tiny dust can cause many problems, even big ones. Can god control every dust so that it won't hurt the creatures he created and love ? ( I don't think god gave dust free will too. )

If god cannot control everything and stop something from creating trouble, how does he manage the universe (our world, all his creatures....) so well.

I think god has his own philosophy to do it. And I think, If one day we understand that, we would know what our purpose of life is.

What do you think?
