People fight in a form of war because of the unique human factor called "emotion". Unique in a sense that only humans have these traits unlike other animals. But, emotions are actually an evolution from human language. Wherein, by the time we learn how to communicate to others through speaking, we develop emotions. So, the reason humans have war, is because they can communicate, and inevitably, flaws in communication exist. In conclusion, "anything that can communicate to others through speaking, or sign languages, are capable of developing emotions". So we may say, babies, do not have emotions, not until they learn how to speak. Babies may laugh or cry, but it's not emotion, it's just that, they just saw something that's good to their eyes, or they felt something tickling. And they cry because they feel pain.

As far as I know, they had plenty of it. More than other countries and really innovative ones, too - like Tabun or Sarin. Given their desperate situation in 1944 and 1945, why didn't they use it - at least on the eastern front?

Ok, I was watching the 2003 adaptation of the Scarlet Pimpernel with Richard E. Grant just now, and I wondered why the French peasantry rebelled in the 1700s and the English peasantry didn't?

Were the French more or less thoroughly repressed than their English counterparts or was there more to it than that?

Does anyone remember the name of the lady that wrote "The Clan of the Cave Bear" ? I think her name was Jane Auel, but I'm not sure. I was also wondering if you guys knew if she wrote a final book about the Clan people? A few years ago I heard she was writing a final Clan book, but I lost track of whether she did or not. Please help if you can. Thanks, everyone. : )
