People fight in a form of war because of the unique human factor called "emotion". Unique in a sense that only humans have these traits unlike other animals. But, emotions are actually an evolution from human language. Wherein, by the time we learn how to communicate to others through speaking, we develop emotions. So, the reason humans have war, is because they can communicate, and inevitably, flaws in communication exist. In conclusion, "anything that can communicate to others through speaking, or sign languages, are capable of developing emotions". So we may say, babies, do not have emotions, not until they learn how to speak. Babies may laugh or cry, but it's not emotion, it's just that, they just saw something that's good to their eyes, or they felt something tickling. And they cry because they feel pain.

I don't agree. Animals do feel emotion to a limited degree. If you have a pet dog or something you'd see that. Also, language does not cultivate emotions. People are born with emotions. Language doesn't teach reasoning or stuff to that effect, think of that. Language just gives people a method of expressing themselves. Cheerio.

Babies do communicate, but they don't understand all of our communcations to them. The babies stomach will communicate to the babies mind that it is hungry, the babies mind will react by causing the act of crying, which communicates to the parent to feed it.

Animals also communicate with each other, such that they use odor and smell, and some use motion and movement.

Communication is something extremely deep in everything. DNA is a form of communication that cells understand or at least respond to. So it is a given that emotion sits on top of communication.

Animals do have emotions. Animals get angry, they attack each other when something they are attached to is destroyed/killed. For example some parent animals have been known to attack dangerous preditors out of anger if that preditor claims one of it's children, but normally they are afraid of the animal.

The only difference is that some of our attachments are imaginary. Such as an attachment to holy or sacred or promised lands.

From your question, you seem to be seeking consensus. I don't really like the concept of consensus. Hence, I would not like to agree with you, no.

As for your opinions on emotions, I believe that between emotions and action, there is another variable in humans called the "will". This will also plays a part in the starting of wars, cries of pain and other expressions of human emotion.

I would probably have to completely disagree with you on this. The need for communication exists for us to describe and express our emotions and our needs and our feelings, which are the result of our emotions. You have an emotion, anger for example, you feel angry and your anger makes you shout 'let go of my rubber ducky'. You had the emotion at the event but you feel angry until you get the rubber ducky back. Then of course you can sit back and experience enlightenment until the next time someone tries to snatch Mr. D.

No. War isn't misunderstanding and wars don't "represent a failure to listen". War is and always has been large-scale armed robbery - nothing more, nothing less. You don't need to communicate with a man to kill him and take his wife, his house, his money and his future. You just need a bigger gun or a more ruthless general.

I wouldn't mind agreeing with you, but you're wrong. Emotion precedes language. We wouldn't learn language at all if we didn't have any desire to – and that desire is itself an emotion.

That's not a question. It's a thesis so you can show everybody how smart you think you really are. Feel better now?
