If you post it someplace like www.ourecho.com, then you have that as proof that you originated the work. Later if someone should rip it off, you can show where you posted it on the internet first.

Most people prefer their OWN work. A nice safe place is at www.fanstory.com . It costs $5.00 a month, and you can post 1 or 2 pieces a day AND get reviews and comments. If you join up, look for SALLYO. That's me.

If you're worried, don't be. Most people don't have the TIME to steal other people's works these days.

I know I don't, and never will. My work is simply to complex and intregated to simply "claim".

Blogger.com is a good place to create and post, and you might want to try other writing group to post some of your work as well.

If you have any other questions or ideas, please let me know!

I'm open for story swaps!

I won't take them, my writing is very strange, and it wouldn't seem right for it to change all of a sudden.

You can have it copyrighted http://www.copyright.gov ... OR Copyleft (which is free) http://www.gnu.org/copyleft

Then you can put it anywhere.
