The best way is a rubber pipe wrench. Looks like a rubberband at the end of a stick and as you twist the rubberband tightens. Slowly and VERY carefully heating the tube that the mouthpiece is connected to will expand the brass and the mouthpiece will loosen enough but the heat will likely damage the brass if not done correctly. Take it to a music shop and they will do it for free if you don;t feel confident. Just give a sincere thank you when they do it.

I recommend using the trumpet valve oil in a manner similar to WD-40. If the mouth piece will twist, then gradually work it loose by applying oil to the area where the mouthpiece meets the instrument itself. You can also gently heat (in boiling water) or cool (in an ice bath) the metal at the junction. Since the mouthpiece (usually aluminum) and the instrument (brass) are made of different metals, they have different rates of expansion and contraction, and they can be separated more easily. Good luck.

Try applying heat to the trumpet just below the mouthpiece. A hair dryer or butane torch. (be careful with the torch). That will expand the metal the mouthpiece is inserted in.

Take it to a shop there pretty hard to get out on your own. Also if you try getting it out on your own you may damage the mouthpiece.

Try heating it. Apply the heat to the trumpet side by slowly pouring boiling water over it . the metal should expand enough to loosen it. remember to use a rag when you try to pull it out so you don't burn yourself

Run very very hot water over the brass where it fits in .. this causes the metal to expand slightly and it may break free.
