Huckabee contends that it doesn't matter, because he is not intending to insist that schools stop teaching evolution. But that really isn't the point.
The reason that his support for intelligent design matters is that it is ridiculous. Who wants a President of the United States who doesn't accept the basic principles of science, taking refuge instead in a load of mumbo jumbo?

The religious beliefs of a President are a matter of conscience, but intelligent design is not a religious idea. It is, deliberately, put as an alternative scientific theory. But it is, sadly, nonsense.

It is clearly vital that he or she be someone who accepts and understands scientific methods. By rejecting evolution in favour of intelligent design Huckabee illustrates that he does not reach scientific conclusions based on evidence.

This is a serious downside in a President, whatever his other qualities.

people you don't even know call you "hunnie" or "hun" or "sweetie"? It drives me INSANE. I HATE it. I go to dunkin donuts every morning, and every now and then the lady will hand me my coffee and say "Here you go hun" I have no idea why, but I just cannot stand it. Anyone else? my first period? I have been getting discharge for a little while now, not more than 2 months. But today I noticed a tiny bit of reddish brown stuff on my panties. I know, it sounds stupid and you're thinking "duh, of course it is!" but it was, like so little! And there was also some of the other (yellow-white) discharge I've also been getting for a while. It was like, an inch long (the red stuff) dried up, and looked like a pen line, it was really thin. I wasn't sure so I kept the panties on and I checked a few seconds ago and there was no new stuff on. I don't want to be all melodramatic and go gushing to my mom, it might be a false start? Could it be or no? I'm so confused and scared! Maybe I should just leave it and if I don't get any more just forget about it? It's just that I was expecting it so much later! AAAUUUGGGGH! help!

I understand that in 2007, there is a $87,500 tax exculsion for (ie western employees). Is this true ? Is this gross income or adjusted income?

Also, do americans have to pay capital gains tax earned overseas?

(ie. Say i invested my money in an IRA in UAE for the past 3 years and have earned 30% return on my investments and after the 3 years return back to the US. Do I have to pay any taxes? Can I transfer the money back into my US bank account?) Please advise?
