my first period? I have been getting discharge for a little while now, not more than 2 months. But today I noticed a tiny bit of reddish brown stuff on my panties. I know, it sounds stupid and you're thinking "duh, of course it is!" but it was, like so little! And there was also some of the other (yellow-white) discharge I've also been getting for a while. It was like, an inch long (the red stuff) dried up, and looked like a pen line, it was really thin. I wasn't sure so I kept the panties on and I checked a few seconds ago and there was no new stuff on. I don't want to be all melodramatic and go gushing to my mom, it might be a false start? Could it be or no? I'm so confused and scared! Maybe I should just leave it and if I don't get any more just forget about it? It's just that I was expecting it so much later! AAAUUUGGGGH! help!
thanks

don't worry,
i don't think it's your period.
you'll deffinetely know when its your period becuase there will be a substantial amount of blood.
if your worried about ruining your panties, because this could be a sign that your period is coming, go in the bathroom and put on a panty liner if your mom has any.
don't worry about telling her untilyou know for sure.
i had a hard time telling my mom when i first started,
so i hope you don't.
remember shes been there before,
and she will help you through anything.

good luck hun!

eww lol well just put a pad on and leave it for the day
see what happens
everyone is different some girls get thier period for the whole 7 days
some get it for like 3
nothing is wrong except if the discharge is like yellow or it smells bad you might have an infection just take showers everyday and it will clear up
tell your mom what's happening the same thing probably happened to her too

if your having yellow- white discharge I would go to the dr. you might have a yeast infection. When I started my period I got lots of blood. Not just a little speck. So maybe it's a sign that your period might be coming soon. Just wear a panty liner.

The discharge that you mention is a precursor to your first period. I wouldn't describe your concerns as melodramatic. This is an important transition that you are starting to go through. I wish that you would confide in your mother. Let her be there for you. That's what mothers are for. Good luck.

Talk to your mom about. This sounds like your first period or the start of your first period. Don't freak out too much all women go through this.

This might be a sign that you are getting ready to start. You need to go tell your mom so that you can get the things you need and be prepared for when it starts.
