Mercury Morris is angry and bitter and can't accept that the Pats went through the season undefeated. He does not understand that records are made to be broken...or in this case...tied. If, and only if the Pats win the Super Bowl can they be compared to the '72 Dolphins. The Cleveland Browns won the pro football championship in 1948 by going undefeated. Nobody ever mentions that.

he just seems so darn bitter and ungracious.....records are meant to be broken or shared in this case i guess....he is making himself look so bad..actually there are a few of those 72 dolphins that just look bad.....i like bob griese..he just congratulates the pats and doesnt preface it with anything else...16-0 is a great thing...not the ultimate goal...but its pretty huge
