job pays great,great benefits insurance,retirement etc. i hate what i do and the people i work with. no one here likes their job and only stay for money and benies. im out of town 90% of the time. i have to stay 10 years to get full benefits for retirement. working conditions are hard and dangerous. im made to feel guilty because of the money and told at my age im pretty much stuck here. this is a construction type job and everyone except me is in their 20's. im in good shape now but i can feel the wear and tear on my body. my passion is art. im a portrait artist. i can make a living at it but wife says there's no retirement or benefits so it's not worth it . so is this really my only avenue, 10 - 15 yrs of hell wasting away to retire so i can actually do something i love and good at?

We have one healthy 16 month old baby and are struggling with the dilema of whether to have another child. I have terrible post partum depression with the first and struggle with being a 'mommy' every day. However, I don't know if we are being cruel by denying our son a sibling. My husband has to move every three or four years for his job, and wrenching an onIy child away from his friends over and over again, could be traumatics. right? I just don't know if we can handle another baby. I know the first year is the worst, but the first year with another toddler pulling at my apron strings may be too much to bear.
Any advice?

My doctor started me seven weeks ago on 40 mg adderall (IR, not XR) and as I research it it looks like most people start on less. I weigh around 120 lbs, and I dunno, it makes me concerned that maybe I've been started on too much or something. I've already built some tolerance to this amount.

What do you think? Was this crazy of the doctor or am I overreacting? Just since most people start on less I get nervous. =/

After my miscarriage in September it was really hard for me.. boyfriend took it pretty well but I went into a deep depression and have since apologized profusely to him for ways I may have acted. Now I'm pregnant again and he's told me that he dreads spending the rest of his life with me (i was being a little hormone crazy) and after my u/s he said he didnt want to have a baby with me. he has been going out all day and night and not letting me come since we found out (about 3 weeks ago) and last weekend he (for the first time in our 5 years of being together) left me home without the car and didnt call or show up all weekend (we werent fighting or anything.. it was just random). i love my little baby but i feel so crazy and broken and im starting to get really depressed again and i dont know what to do. I don't have anyone to talk to since I decided not to tell anyone about the pregnancy until i hear a heartbeat...

my mom got an offer to buy a house for 89,000 dollars it has 4 rooms a living room a dinig room 2 restrooms 2 garages a pool and a jacuzzi. We have a house with 5 rooms right now we got it for 84,000 and i must say i like it better thatn the other one but the pool is a big plus. The new house is by another school but is just 5 minutes away from my current school. The offered house is smaller and has some fixing up to do but my mom is going to put our current house for rent

My friend who is 41 years old was evicted from his home in november and has no place to live. He has lived with his mom his whole life and cant take care of himself do to his mental capacities. He also has a severe drinking problem. He gets ssi every month. Are there any programs that will help him. Sobriety isnt really what I am asking about here. I need to find a program that will help house him and possibly administer meds, remind him about showers ect.... thanks peeps

I am 18 and a sophmore @ UNLV, I have great job security and am single. however i really want a child, I was hit by a drunk driver Mar 3rd of 07 and have been getting better since but I am not getting younger and my health can really only go downhill 4rm here. I had knee surgery this month, 3 brain surgeries and have a rod and 3 pins in my L thigh. but I have a great friend who would suppy the sperm. but do i ave to wait until i am married or what?

... I have seen him twice (hanging with mutual friends) & it has been totally platonic. I really, really felt a connection with him. He is a super nice guy but just went thru a divorce. So I have backed off & gave him his space. ProbIem is I can't stop thinking about him ... i think about him like every day. I haven't felt like this about anybody in a while. I think he may like me but then it may have just been a hook up for him. I want to pursue something with him but am afraid that its too soon for him, or that he may not feel the same. But then what if he does? I've been dating other guys recently but none of them make me feel like that. I just keep thinking of him. I've been trying to just push my feelings aside & see what happens in the future but it doesn't seem to be working. Is a hook up just a hook up and am I being silly to think of it as more? It felt like there was an emotional connection. Too naive? Should I just talk to him about my feelings? If so what should i say? HELP

I am a bit precognitive..mostly,with some clairvoyancy..and clear audient as well....I would like to be able to see ghosts and or spirits..how can I practice to see them at all? or is this ONLY with SOME few people in our world that are allowed to do this..because I thought that everyone would have this ability..but, need to practice or work on it...Can ANYBODY do this..or learn to do this?

i need to be able to reach octaves on the piano easier in a few of the pieces i am currently working on. i can reach an octave fine, but when i need to play a series of them quickly, my fingers aren't stretched enough to play it easier...did that make any sense? are there any exercises i can do both on and off the piano? thanks! :D
