My husband comes and goes for days especially when its payday. But always return he has a bad drug habit, when he is not doing that he is the best husband in the world. Never yells, cuss or hit me ever in the 15yrs together. Right now we are serperated and I tired not to talk to him on the phone but he keeps txting me on my cell how is hurt and sad, that he is nothing without me. He's been talking about killing himself and I'm scared since he has tired it once awhile back. He promise to change but I heard those words before. What do I do? I still love him so but can't handle being a doormate no more.

It's 12:06 AM where I live, I just got back from a walk. My insomnia coupled with my utter boredom made me decide to go on a walk around the block. I live in a relatively bad neighborhood, so I was a bit paranoid... But that didn't stop me.

So, have you ever decided to go for a walk in the middle of the night? If so, how late (or early) was it? Did you find yourself looking over your shoulder often?

I mean, why should people be expected to conform to some unwritten standard instead of being themselves for fear of offending someone's sensibilites? I can see how we shouldn't do some things for concern of others, like not being disgusting to people at dinner because it could put them off their appetite, but what freaking difference does it make if someone is wearing pajamas in public (some of the responses to that question are quite sad)? It is not hurting anyone and you do not know their circumstances - what if that is all they have to wear? And what if someone is making a scene in a store or restaruant? Again, you do not know the person - perhaps they were having a very rough day, perhaps they have autism, perhaps they have OCD and become upset if their rituals are disturbed? Why must we be soooo judgemental??

It seems like people prefer to go out or travel to see the countdown and fireworks for New Year's 2008. I've been staying at home my whole life on every New Year's. I wish I could go to New York, Australia, London, Canada, or anywhere I can see the countdown and fireworks.
