our school recently conducted an IQ test...and i was able to take a peek at my results...my IQ is 135 and I'm 12 years old? What is the average IQ for my age and is my IQ ok? what's the classification? thanks :)

Your very smart I'm 13 with 103 IQ
140 and up = Genius or near genius.
121-139 = Superior intelligence.
111-120 = Slightly above average intelligence.
90-110 = Average intelligence.
70-89 = Slightly bellow average intelligence.
50-70 = Moderately below average intelligence.
Lower than 50 = Far below average intelligence.

because iq is a quotient of your mental age over your physical age, being young makes your iq a lot higher because the denominator is smaller. we couldn't really tell for now unless your intelligence stabilizes.
as you grow older, you will notice that your iq averages around 90-100.
very smart kids who were considered precocious or gifted had iqs around 300 - 400 or even higher.
at mean ages, say around 25 - 30, these are the rough classifications
below 70 - imbecile
71 - 80 - below average
81 - 100- average
100 - 125 - above average
126 - 135 - gifted
136 - 145 - genius
146 -155 - ranking genius

IQ doesn't change with age, so if you are 135 at 12, you were there at 4, and will be there at 90. The average is somewhere around 100, so you are well above average. Not a genius, but above average.

i got a 150 on my IQ test but i dont think that really proves anything. nowadays even little babies have an IQ of over 160.
