we put peroxide on it , and wrapped it up in some gauze & are making him stay indoors( he's and indoor- outdoor cat & we're pretty sure he stepped on something outside). but he came up to me earlier and there was a slight odor in the area, so i started to take the bandage off but he freaked out ,so now he's working on taking it off on his own.

should i wrap it back up? or should i let it get some air? was the smell just because it was wrapped up? or is that a sign of infection? i'm mostly looking for at-home remedys and will go to the vet as a last resort. also, is it safe for him to lick at the wound if has peroxide on it??

I Flunked my first year in college (due to me being homeless). I went to school in NY, but will be moving to New Jersey. I dont want to diet much, was a great deal before I got pregnant, but am so afraid of reaching my last pregnancy weight of 230 pounds ( I was overweight the first time before I got pregnant) I was 145lbs this time, but am shooting up to 160-165 lbs with in a few weeks! I'm coming up with alternate history possibilities based on the following described historical events.

In the year 990, Prince Vladimir adopted the Eastern Orthodox form of Christianity to remain independent of external political control, especially of the Germans. This Byzantine baptism led Russia, over time in history, into 13th century Mongol occupations and self-isolation from Europe, which included the Renaissance, the Reformation, overseas exploration/colonization, and the commercial/democratic/industrial revolutions of the 18th-20th centuries. It also led Russia as the only independent center of Orthodoxy even after the fall of Constantinople to the Turks in 1453.

I therefore look for possibilities based on the following questions. What if Prince Vladimir adopted another religion, such as Roman Catholicism, Judaism, or Islam? How would a Catholic, Jewish, or Muslim Russia affect Europe and the rest of the world? Would the Russian Revolution of 1917 be avoided?

A childhood friend of mine has a six year old daughter who my family picks up from preschool 5 days a week and we bring her home until her mother picks her up. I have a 2 year old son. Let me say that I am not close with her mother at all. Her mother and my mother are best friends. The 6 y/o is sick ALL THE TIME. And has been for YEARS. It is obvious her mother could care less about her, the child bathes herself once a week and dresses herself. I live in Mass. and it is typical that she doesn't even wear a coat, hat, or mittens. Last year she got my son sick and he had pnemonia for 2 weeks. Then we didn't watch her for about 7 months. She was here on Christmas and she could HARDLY BREATHE. Her eyes were literally swollen shut. My son was already on antibiotics for an ear infection and now he is very ill, probably pneumonia again. My mother called her and left her a msg saying we could not watch her anymore. Is there anything else I should do in this situation?

Purchased a laptop from ebay for 250gbp, seller had good feedback but asked for money to be either paid in cash into account or through bank transfer. Payment was done with cash, but several hours later the seller was disclosed as a scammer who had scammed others in the past. He was taken off ebay but now am stuck with no laptop and minus 250gbp christmas money! Have the receipt and account details of what was paid in where is it possible to get the cash back? any ideas on how to salvage this one? Please I need some bright think ideas!

i have been diagnosed with personality disorder and depression 6 mths ago and i'm on effexor xr. I'm noticing that i'm getting worse and i know i'm doing it but can't stop. My moods are so unstable, i get depressed easily, i take offence easily and take everything the wrong way, i'm demanding when i don't mean to be and it is causing me and my boyfriend to fight heaps. I constantly feel like he never wants to do anything with me and that he doesn't love me so i find myself desperate for constant affection. What can i do to help control this. I sometimes feel like giving up. I've lost all desire to talk to or visit friends. I don't want to leave the house and i've become so dependant on being with him. I don't feel happy deep inside with myself.
