I dont want to diet much, was a great deal before I got pregnant, but am so afraid of reaching my last pregnancy weight of 230 pounds ( I was overweight the first time before I got pregnant) I was 145lbs this time, but am shooting up to 160-165 lbs with in a few weeks! Not obsessed, just concerened, and wondering how to SAFETLY slow it down the weight gain without hurting my child. And can I exercise safetly, including weights?

Yeah that's way too much in the first trimester. Just eat small healthy snacks throughout the day. Drink only water, no juice or soda. Walking is a great exercise, but yes you can use light weights when pregnant, just nothing while laying on your back. Good luck.

i tried every trick to avoid gaining weight during my first 2 months but i never managed no matter what i eat.

i was 109 pounds before pregnancy and by end of my term i was 196pounds, then by the time i left the hospital i was 30 pounds lighter and it has been 9 weeks now and in total i have lost 48 pounds,

some women gain weight and some dont , no matter what you eat you will fall in the ones that gain or the ones that dont .

my advice will be try eating healthy so that the weight wont be hard to come out by the time you are done.

on the other hand dont be hard on your self, this is your moment and may be the first time that you are not on a lozzy diet and just enjoying food for the first time.

have fun and worry about fat next near after the baby, weight always comes out if you are determind to loose it.

good luck and this is your moment , worry only about the baby not you.

I don't know how much you were working out before you were pregnant, but my doctor advised me not to pick up a work out schedule because I had not been doing it regularily before getting pregnant. She told me to start swimming though. Truth be told - I've swam once, lol, and I was just floating around and playing, lol. I've also heard it isn't good to diet, but maybe watching what you're eating. Add some vegetables to your diet, cut out some carbs (breads, pasta, rice), my biggest downfall is the pasta. Another thing is juice, a friend of mine was told to stop drinking so much juice, she thought she was doing something good for her baby, but was gaining weight like crazy.
I'm 3 months, and I haven't gained any weight yet, I'm feeling badly now, lol. My doctor says it's ok so far though. This is my first pregnancy though, and I don't know all there is to know, but I wish you good luck! :)

i does no longer subject approximately it too lots. that's organic to your physique to income weight. you're helping your existence besides as your unborn newborn's. beneficial, gaining too lots may be undesirable yet gaining too little may be undesirable besides. The 25 to 35 lb weight income is an usual that medical doctors will propose yet each and every physique is distinctive and each being pregnant is distinctive and your physique will needless to say comply with the desires of your infant. as long as you proceed eating healthful then there should not be a topic. I won 40 kilos with my first newborn by means of transport time and now i'm 24 weeks alongside and function in elementary terms won 4 kilos with this one. i've got no longer replaced my food plan and my conventional practitioner suggested the two eventualities are thoroughly wide-spread. in simple terms think of of the load as your physique telling you what a great job that's doing making waiting your physique for wearing turning in and feeding that infant interior the destiny. :-) i desire this helped.

Honestly i gained alot early on in my pregnancy........ because of extreme stress, quitting smoking, ending a relationship... alot of different stuff. but it has started to even out now......... so im 31weeks now and i have gained 30lbs...... but now i have started only gaining a half a pound a week...... Try not to stress about it too much, the best thing you can do is eat very healthy well balanced meals........ and try to eat the foods you crave in moderation which i know sounds easier said than done sometimes lol!!! But it will be ok...... eat healthy, walk you will be alright. Many women gain more than 25-30lbs with atleast one of thier pregnancies...... the women that say they never did are eithier extremely lucky or in denial lol.... Goodluck!

You can do any exercise that you did before, as long as you listen to your body. Don't push yourself too hard. Weights should be used with caution because your joints are looser and your center of gravity changing rapidly which can make it very easy to injure yourself. That won't effect the baby but it can make you miserable for a long time.

Make sure you make healthy choices as often as possible, but not using fake foods such as artificial sweeteners and fake fats. Fresh fruit and veggies, whole grains, lower fat options (but not no fat).

If you feel you need extra support there is a weight watchers plan for pregnant women.

Try watching what you eat and walk every day. Also, drink lots of water. Is there any chance you're having twins? Have you talked to your doctor about the weight gain? He/she might be able to offer better advice. Before you do any exercising besides walking, you should ask your doctor if it's safe.

Good luck!!
