My lovely old labrador died three years ago and we buried him in the garden. We're on water restrictions so the garden isn't very healthy at all except in this one spot where my old dog is buried and the weeds grow profusely. My partner came up with the idea of growing vegetables there. I do miss homegrown vegetables but I cant imagine eating anything which my old dog has fertilized. What do you all think of this?

hey people

Hopefully i will be starting my basic training for the British Army in about 6 months time

im not sure how long i want to stay in the army ( in the infantry) but a very long time if all goes well to atleast the age of 40 (im 16 now)

and i was wondering what job could i do after the army that would still be the same as the army if you know what i meen , a job that would involve weapons or being in a unit things like that etc

1. Why do living things CARE if they have offspring ? I mean life is a series of chemical reactions right ? But why would a conglomeration of chemicals go through all this trouble to procreate? I mean stars and planets don't. Rocks don't seek to preserve rockdom and water does not attempt to ensure there will always be wetness so why do organisms seek to recreate themselves ?
2. Why the variety ? Evolution doesn't cut it. When the first life forms became sussessful why didn't it stop there? I mean there are types of algea that have been around for over a BILLION years. Long before complex organims. So why did complex organisms develop ? What purpose could that possibly serve the original ones from which they are descended?
3. Since human beings are just intelligent animals everything we do is natural right ? Why should we care about other creatures beyond the extent to which it is to our benefit?

ok, i liked hannah montana too, but yes, they are cancelling the show. In j14 i read that some other dude in like 1990 something came up with the same idea but with a guy not a girl, so he sued the producers. The other dude won, so they canceled the show. I even saw on a disney channel comercial that jason earls even said himself, and i quote,

"After we WRAPED hannah montana i decided to go with a new look to see nobody will reconize me. . . its not really working."

that was on a comercial for the disney 365 thing. And in a recent J14, they mentioned that hannah montana is officially cancelled. I liked the show, but not like people who are saying on here . . . (another quote)

"are they seriously canceling hannah montana??? wtf omfg y the heIl would they do that??? disney will just lose a ton of $ by doing this! disney is being retarded!"

and other stuff like that. i think it is rediculous to obsess over a show. it was good but seriously, obsessing? say yes if ur aggring.
