Hi, Celtish. Yes, the idea of men having a "criminal gene" is certainly part and parcel of official feminist dogma. We were told about it in women's studies when I used to label myself as a feminist. And yes, it is closely related to racialism, eugenics and Hitlerism and the concept of 'inferior races'.
This man-only "criminal gene" does not exist in the real world. It is just another hardline feminist invention calculated to try to justify their assertions about men being inferior to women.

I have never heard of a criminal gene that makes men more inclined to criminal behavior. I also think it's crazy to say that women are genetically incapable of doing wrong. Certainly there are women who've disproved THAT idea.
But there is a genetic condition where men get two Y chromosomes and there was some studies to prove that this makes men more aggressive. I think there were studies to attempt to prove that most male convicts (of violent crimes) carried the XYY genotype. I don't think that held up, but I didn't follow the study closely.
Fiction made this "link" even more popular. Law and Order had an episode where the defendant was XYY and his defense was that he was genetically pre-disposed to violence.

What official feminist ideology? My major was Women's Studies and I have taken a class feminist jurisprudence and I have never ever heard of this. Where did you get this idea? Please give a link or something.
Go to a juvenile detention center or a woman's prison and that would prove that there is in fact female criminals. Nobody is genetically incapable of doing wrong. That's just silly. To err is human.

I am not sure this gene has been accurately identified. However, because testosterone has been proven to be directly related to greater aggressive behavior in most males, some folks believe there is a genetic contribution to male aggression. I am a feminist and I have never been provided that "official feminist ideology" is an explanation for the greater exhibition of male aggression, when contrasted with the level of female aggression. I'm not sure where you discovered this information that you are using for the provision of your generalizations, but I suggest you dig deeper for discovering the accuracy of your preposition.

I have never heard of this so-called ideology. Most people know that women are just as capable of being criminals as men. The difference is that men commit the majority of violent crimes and so they get the most attention. We as a society tend to not take white collar crimes (which women also commit in great numbers) as seriously as violent crimes and so offenders get off with much lighter jail sentences. That's why many people have the mistaken impression that women can't be criminals.

As a graduate in the Social Sciences and Sociology I have reservations about the theory, also there is no "official feminist ideology" but many schools of feminist thought. Try the following and then use your favourite search engine, the Internet is the greatest learning tool ever.

I have never heard of the "criminal gene," but it is true that primary sociopaths are genetically different. They are genetic criminals and the incidence of sociopathy is strongly gender determined. One in thirty three men are sociopaths. I do not remember the female rate but it is a small fraction of the male rate and the difference is statistically significant. If there is a "criminal gene," that would be it. Sociopaths, who lack the physiological capability to generate the chemical responses in empathy, cannot feel for others and cannot understand what a conscience is nor understand why it would be wrong to harm another if it makes them feel good.
It is rather like having a predator gene and not having the herd genes humans have. It could be a genetic defect or simply a very old recessive gene from before hominids were primarily a socially banding species.
It does not mean that women can do no wrong, in fact, the very capacity to speak of wrong in those terms implies the presence of feeling for others. Everyone does wrong, some people cannot feel how not to do wrong.

There is no such thing as an "official feminist ideology". As a scholar of both critical theory and feminism, I've encountered many forms of feminism that are in conflict, and others that are designed to critique other forms.
For example, "Black Fem" is a school of thought in feminism that critiques First (19th and early 20th century) and Second (1960's) wave feminism. It argues that most feminism comes from a middle-upper class white women's perspective, and doesn't talk about the experiences of African American women, who have to deal with racism as well as sexism.
Thus, there's no "official feminist ideology". Feminism is as complicated as Conservativism - many different ideas, from Reagan-ites, to neo-conservatives, to "compassionate conservatives". It's not helpful to lump them all together.
Any source for your claims (it may be easier to discuss them).

Hitler ideology is about right. Women are just as bad as men when it comes to doing crimes. I personally knew a woman who was in prison for third degree murder; tell me someone that she doesn't have a criminal gene. http://womenshistory.about.com/od/criminals/Criminals_Notorious_Women.htm
Here have at it; knowing them they'll put the blame on a man; . all it is, is just another stupid feminist ploy to make men look bad. If that's the case feminists are weaker than even they care to think about or admit. I'm a true anti and even I'd blame my self if I ever did a crime, cause it would be my fault..

So, you're claiming that feminists believe that women are genetically incapable of doing any wrong? Care to post a link of this since you seem to keep up with the feminist literature way more than i do.
I've never heard of this.
Post a source of this so-called criminal gene and also the claim that women aren't capable of doing any wrong.
