I'm asking this as a firm, Christian believer
I'm don't want to be judgemental, I just want to "hear" a view of atheism from atheists...and be nice about it

do you feel complete in life?
where do you go when you feel lonely, sad, depressed, or lost?
are you satisfied in believing that there is no afterlife?
how do you explain the untouchable things in life, like love, happiness, anger, excitement, etc.?

to me, it just seems that believing in nothing beyond this life is depressing.
yes, there is suffering and evil in life, but without darkness, there is no purpose for light. Suffering makes us stronger, makes us appreciate the good in life more.
every law in the Bible has a reason for it; though we may not know the reason for all of the laws now, one day we might.
and not all christians judge people, either...one of the greatest joys in my life is being with other christians who love me and pray for me when i need help

This would've been around about the same time as the Big Wheel.

The main area was a flat round plastic seat for the kid to sit in. There were two large vertical wheels (one on either side), with a small wheel (or two) to provide balance under the entire platform.

The kid moved the contraption (I think) my pedaling the wheels with their hands. If the kid pedaled with the same force on both sides, the toy would go straight. If you just pedaled with one hand, you'd go around in circles.

A friend posted something not to long ago that resonated with me. I have been sort of struggling "feeling" that I had to fine tune my Beliefs. So her question, inspired me to pray and reflect.
Came across, something today while reading that made me know that I had too should release judgement, especially against myself...

For me, this is an inspiring thought. That even if I no longer agree with all religions that "seeing" only the good, can do nothing but bring peace to myself as well as others.

Would like to know would it possible for you to do that?
If not, why?

Please answer in a way that refers only to yourself and your beliefs that fit your life.

I'm 15, and I went to the doctor recently. Although it was unrelated to the reason I came to see him (I have a sinus infection), he insisted on weighing me. After he saw how much I weighed (I won't go into details, but my BMI works out to 31), he pronounced me a "fat pig", and lectured me very harshly for the next six minutes. I know I need to lose weight, but was he out of line? Surely he could have been nicer? I was so embarrassed I wanted to die.
Is it okay for a doctor to say something like that? Has it ever happened to anyone else?

I used to play the clarinet, alto clarinet, bass clarinet, and contra bass clarinet. I quit for awhile and had a family. Now I am looking at getting back into playing. my father left me and my mom when i was just a baby.and i was my fathers 1st child ,and i barely saw my father when i was younger,until i turned 6 thats when he came into my life again ,and my dad has to other kids with my stepmother my lil bro n lil sis.Now im alot older and Whenever i go to my fathers house,he always gives my sister and bro all the attention and love,and i always feel left out.And this gets to me so much i feel like he cares for them way more then me but then again he might feel gulity for walking out on me and my mother and might not no how to say im sorry about it but like he'll never kiss me on the forehead or tell me im beautiful like he does to my lil sis n that makes me feel so unwanted .I no i should talk to him about it but i dont know how to bring it up.i need some help how to tell him how i feel .

Well i got a puppy and its two months. Do all puppies breath stink or is it just my puppy? Trust he didnt eat trash or anything like that. He just plays, eat puppy food, and sleep. My other dog didnt have a bad breath when he was a puppy. Ohh yeah I do I get my puppy to stop whinning and biting me. I want him to bite other people but not me. He is a Labrador!
