shes an idiot and claims she has depression and is only very good at hiding it but i know she doesnt shes a happy kid i see her big smile all the time and shes happy just ask her ex-boyfriend theres no problem with this child (i mean she was raped but she healed herself through God and church and church counseling) but see i am very angry about this she doesnt have freaking depression my only two good stepmom's had depression i mean one of them i found the body of when she commited suicide and the other decided she would stop going to therapy and taking her meds and i had to help her i mean that night was truely powerful to me just crying with her anyways...my friend doesnt have depression she freaking doesnt?!?!?!?!
how can i tell her that she is an idiot and isnt ill with anything?...though she did just have her boyfriend break up with her and thats when this started...how do i tell her that this is no reason to have depression??

I'm going to a snowboard competition tomorrow and I'm wondering how fast of a shutterspeed I should use to freeze snowboarders in mid air jumping? I'll be shooting with a Sigma 70-200mm 2.8 lens on a Canon 400D. I need sharp photos because I sell them as stock.

Should I shoot with my aperture wide open at 2.8? Any other suggestions to help me get good results will be appreciated.

Okay, we've been together a yr and a half tommorow. Its not like a treat her badly or anything,..I treat her like a goddess. I get her everything I can get and give her everything i have. I love her to death and always am there for her... We havn';t had sex(15) and her dad knows that....however....he still hates me.... I think its my neighborhood but I dont live in a bad neighborhood. Just not as nice.as hers....

Do you think that is so? I do not think so. People think working is all about how much money you make. I have been living off of a $789 biweekly paycheck for two years. Do I want more money? Not really. I do not like my job and I want a different job. I am not proud of what I do and I dislike my job duties. I want to be an actuary. I passed the first exam and I am preparing for the second exam. Am I doing it for the money? No. You could not pay me enough to be a security officer.
If you dislike your day job then you will get a different job.

i talk to my cousin frequently and she says that she barely gets 4 hours of sleep everynight because she studies from the time she gets home until 2 or 3 am. she also says that ancient greek is the hardest subject. i know that ancient greek is an important part of our culture and i'm all about learning it but they should at least go easy on them. she also goes to a private school and she says that there they give them better grades just because they pay. shes like a solid 16-17 student and gets 19s. what's up with all that? what are ur opinions?

The other day I went over to my grandma's house and when I got in the door there was a disaster. She was making a cake and she spilled the batter all over. She was laughing her face off when I was talking to her. She dropped the box of eggs on the floor and almost slipped onto the floor. My aunt was staying with her because she wanted to be here for Christmas. She came out to the kitchen and dropped something on it and made it worse. It was really a troubling sight. My grandma yelled at her and she almost cried. That's the end.

It was just tonight I realised how negative I had become. I compare myself to other girls all the time, if someone is less pretty than me it makes me feel better but if i see someone prettier, and esp someone who has gotten attention from my bf for some reason or another, i feel ugly, insecure and put the pretty girl on a pedestal, thinking she amazing, beautiful, perfect, and i romanticise the image of her in my head.

i wasnt always like this, wasnt until a i fell in love fir the first time and my bfs 1st gf broke his heart, i thought she was the most beautiful girl ever, and the one i think he cheated on me with, is perfect and i wish i were more like her.

do most girls think like this, is it normal?

my new years resolution is to stop comparing myself, stop being so negative and try to let myself be happy!

My husband and I have been married for 18 years. I just found out (by his confession) that he has been sleeping with my cousin (who's 17 years younger than him). To make it even worse, he told me that they've been having an affair off and on for the past 12 years, since she was 19 years old. He's been screwing her for 3/4 of our marriage!!!!! He claims that he loves both of us, but that what he feels for her is like nothing he's ever felt in his life. He acted like she has some sort of control over him that he can't let go. He's told me that he doesn't want a divorce and wants to be there with me and raise our children together. He says he will stop all contact with my cousin (the skanky slut). I don't believe him. I want to divorce him as soon as possible. How can he expect me to stay with him after what he told me? Does he really believe he can leave her alone when she has so much "control" over him? What do you think? I think he's full of $hit!!!!

I was with some friends at a birthday party, and we pulled out the extremely old ouija board. The first time we used it, the idiots around us confused the spirit, and it left (we closed it properly). Next time, the spirit talked to us. They said their initials were CAB, their spirit age (including incarnations) was 35, they are female, and a good spirit. We asked if they knew anybody in the room; say "k" if you were talking about my friend Kassy, and "ke" if they meant me. They said "e," but we had two E's, so we asked the first initial of the last name, and they said the initial of my name. We asked if they knew me, and they said yes. I realized it might be my half sister who died 27ish years ago (i'm 14), and we asked for the first initial of her birthmother's name was, and she said R; I did not touch the pointer when they asked for the initial and my friends don't know the birthmother's name, which is Rose. Unfortunately, the shop where I used to work played country music. And one of the songs for which I (involuntarily) learned tge lyrics for was "Don't take the girl" or whatever it's called by...whatever his name is.

In the last verse the guy's wife is going to have a baby and the doctor says she's "fading fast", so Johnny (the husband) gets down on his knees and prays for God to take his life instead of his wife's.

And it occurred to me today that this makes absolutely no sense from a Christian perspective. If only one of you is going to live, you're going to be separated, whatever happens. And whoever dies is probably going to go to heaven, right? That's supposed to be a good thing, isn't it?

So isn't it rather selfish of Johnny to ask to be the one to go to heaven instead of his wife? Why would he ask such a thing?

Or...do Christians not really believe as strongly in an idyllic afterlife as they'd like to think they do?
