me and my guy bestfriend were friends since 2nd year college,he was an ex-boyfriend of a friend of mine and then after a year of their break up,my best friend and I realized something that we begin to love each other unintentionally.as I about to say yes to him,something happend between us that makes his proposal got disaster. after months has passed by, I got a new boyfriend and as well as my best friend got his new girlfriend.. after a year when we were both free we've decided to continue our love that suppose to be started way back 2 years ago.and now the time has come,my best friend became my boyfriend,on the other hand he still kept on texting other girls who had a big crush on him.i was so jealous and mad because why he cannot stop texting those girls if he really loves me.and now i think i should break up with him just to survive our friendship.do you think i am on the right path?i am so confuse about what is happening to me right now.please help me.i need your opinions.thanks.

I am 18. I have never been to school and have been in a mentally abusive home my entire life. I have no family and my father is non existant. I have always taken care of my mother. Cooking, cleaning, washing her clothes. She is helpless and a alcoholic. I met my boyfriend when I was 14. He did website work for my mom. We were friends but he drew a line I was forbidden to cross. When I turned 18 I told him my feelings. He conceided that he felt feelings for me but he wanted me to go to school. In the past 11 months I have felt more love and compassion from this man than anything I have ever felt. I have dated guys but they only want one thing. This man loves me. I know it in my deepest part of my soul. I feel the same for him. I cannot bear to think of a day without him. He wants me to go to school and is taking steps to get my GED and get me in college. I don't party, Drink, do drugs. I have seen their impact on my life from others. I want a life with no one but this man. I'm in Love

HOLD THE PHONE: There are young people who are energetic and full of life. And they give their time to their peers, families, etc. BUT WHEN did people start losing respect for their elders? When I was a kid, we respected adults so much more than many kids seem to do now.

For example, I know a 44 year old woman, and her elderly 87 year old mother. They were both attacked during a break-in, and they beat the 44 year old into a serious condition. Sure, I know thieves have no morals, but where did all the morals go?

Perhaps "torture" is a bit strong a word (haha) but y'know... don't you find it SO frustrating to come on here asking religious based questions only to have people enthusiastically replying with their phony circular logic, clearly not willing to THINK rationally? I do find it very frustrating myself.

I don't see it as a totally pointless exercise though. It's nice to think we may enlighten a few agnostic half-believers. But anyway...
