Death is the end of life.

The is no more opportunity to learn, grow, or heal. It's done sealed, that's it. Only decay is possible now.

I remember looking at my Father in the casket. He had a sore on his hand were an IV had been. I though that will never heal. Then I thought about how all having to do with my Father was done. Nothing could be changed now. No apologies, no new experiences, no changing what was done.
It was the end of opportunity. The end of life.
