Okay the problem says:

A roller coaster cart originally at rest is moved from point A to point B on a chain by a force F, against gravity. It stops temporarily at B. Is the force F conservative or non-conservative? What forms of energy does the cart have at A and B?

I'm confused because I know gravity's a conservative force, but what about friction with the chain? Anyway if anyone can help me out that'd be great, thanks

I got into a fender bender with a 2007 mini cooper thats on a lease, it was the guys car. The mini cooper had two scratches on it, and no marks on mine. The guy is telling me to pay 905$$$ because he has to replace the WHOLE bumper, and labor etc..but thats ridiculous! isnt there some way around this?? i will love anyone who helps me with this dilemma.

iv asked questions here before. sometimes i received good answers, many times i received not good ones such as "See a doctor." so im not expecting the best from this but id like any advice anyway.

im just so desperate. im 18, iv had some severe depression for about a year or so now. i feel like i cant tell anyone about it. i havnt told a soul so far. its basically just literally ruining my life and almost every relationship iv created in the past (i mean friends or just any kind of relationship, even ones i formed back when i was really young) have seemed to dissipate inside of me. to all them they dont know because iv hid it. but inside i feel like i dont even know my life long friends anymore. iv been feeling like i cant even turn to my family anymore. everyones becoming so distant from me and i feel there's no where to turn. im living in some kind of empty void now. does anyone have ANY kind of advice for me???? besides from the too often repeated stuff > (see top)

I remember when I was 10 my mum passed away. A few months later at school I was having an argument with someone, it was a minor thing and he said "I'm so glad your mums dead". I was sad for weeks and never really got over it. The mother found out and she didn't do anything about it. Still, at least I learnt that words can go a lot further than we think.

This is a real situtation, and it's really bothering me. And effecting my relationship with them.
I have two friends (a married couple, with a young child) They got pregnant to give away their biological child to his cousin, who (him and his wife can't get pregnant).
This isn't a case of surrogate, since the baby is genetically theirs, and not his cousins.
Is this slightly a messy way of going about it. Purposely having a genetically yours child and purposely GIVING it away. Even if it's to family???
