In the movie I Am Legend, Will Smith was hiding in his own home. In the morning he would exercise, later he would go hunting, and then sit out on the brooklyn bridge broadcasting his signals for other survivors. Don't you think the infected would be watching him from inside the buildings, watching him walk home before the sun went down, before his day was over? That must have been the most creepy feeling in the world knowing that you're being watched by infected crazy humans. I couldn't imainge being in his shoes.

For men, my vote goes to Nat King Cole. His voice was so perfect and dreamy. For women, Maxine Sullivan or Peggy Lee. And did anyone see Zooey Deschanel sing in Elf? Damn...her voice is perfect and sounds just like those women, she really needs to get a record deal.

Please be honest... I want to know, even if it hurts, because I think I know the answer, but I just want to be sure.

Let's suppose that the guy in question actually mustered the courage to talk to you (girl), but completely butchered his "line" or whatever he tries to say to tell you that he is interested in you. And he comes across as not very socially skilled in general either - whether in spoken or non-spoken language, and you can tell that easily.

Would you really be as turned off as I am reading in some various sources seem to suggest?

Again please be honest - I don't want the standard answers of "awww I love dating shy guys" or "don't worry you'll meet someone eventually" even though those kind of answers are nice, they aren't helpful... I basically fit the profile of this guy, so I need to know just how bad my condition is (the articles I've read seem to make it look like I have no chances at all with women as it is now because of my lack of sociability)

This guy and I always joke around and make fun of each other in a nonharsh way. We first started talking when he came up to me and asked why I'm so quiet and if I see anyone I would "give it to" because he thinks none of the girls are cute and I told him no and he said, "you're lying, who do you think is cute?" but I kept insisting I didn't find anyone attractive. After that we started talking more and more and a group of us were talking about sex and he said "you probably don't have a boyfriend, do you?" and i said, "yes I do" and said "damn"...I don't know if he said that because he guessed wrong or what. But then he said that he also has a gf. A few weeks later someone asked him if he wanted to my phone number and he replied "she has a boyfriend" but then we joked around about people being sexy (they really weren't) and he said, "I guess I'd have to settle for someone like you". This was over the summer and then I had to move away for school. And now that it’s winter break we finally saw each other again and he asked me a few questions and if I’m still with my boyfriend. I said no and he asked why and I told him because, “He’s stupid” and he replied “Yeah, guys are stupid.” I haven’t seen him much after that. But does he seem interested or just friendly?

Okay, so I'm finally 21 and going to get my CCW permit soon. I live in sweltering Texas, where it is hot and humid practically year-round. Now, my body type is pretty lanky (6' 145 lbs).

What type of pistol do you think would be the easiest to conceal given my frame? I currently own a Smith & Wesson 3953, but am considering trading it in for something smaller and lighter (possible a Springfield XD Subcompact in 9mm).
