My five-year-old German Shepherd, a magnificent dog that barely two weeks ago was chasing rabbits through the brambles with reckless abandon, is about to be put to sleep with an insidious disease called Degenerative Myelopathy. A couple of days ago he awoke unable to walk. He stumbled, dragged his knuckles, and suffered the ignominy of being unable to relieve himself without help. The progression of the disease was frighteningly rapid; which may be a blessing for the dog, but makes the sadness in this house palpable.

To others suffering similar tragedies, I may not know you, cannot hold you, but just know that there are others who share your despair.

I have been dating my boyfriend since I was 14, now I am 18. Recently thanks to a family issue he has been living with me in my house. (Not that I agree'd, but I don't want to say no) I have never been sexually active, and have told him this, and he seemed ok with it. Well, because of the lack of beds, and father and my trust in him, he's been sleeping beside me in my bed. Well, this morning I woke up, but didn't want to get up, so I lay there (fully clothed mind you). I hear him wake up, and think he's trying to pull off the covers from himself without waking me, when I feel his hand on my rear. I was ok with it, until it started to go deeper, and that's when I kicked my foot as if waking up. He let go, but moments later tried AGAIN> When I kicked again, he got out of bed. I'm scared that he's done this before while I've slept, or gone to "different area's", but I don't want to embaress him or get him angry by asking. HELP!

they usually ask me to prove it. and i wonder how does one go about proving such a thing? even if i didn't do anything which you could perceive as being a "sin", and this is under the assumption that you could follow me around 24/7/365 for the rest of my life, you'd probably still doubt that i never had a bad thought. so why do you suppose so many believe that jesus never even had one bad thought? isn't that kind of hard to prove? how does one go about proving he/she is "sinless"?

I bought a Kawasaki ER5 a few weeks back and ive just checked the coolant to find that the level is severely low. But it don't know what exactly i should and should do.

Do i just top it up or do i have to drain it and fill it up?
Where do i drain the coolant from?
What do i actually put in? Is it just antifreeze or do i buy something from a bike shop?
Where abouts between the lower and full line is the ideal amount of coolant?

I just have no idea about how the coolant side of looking after a motorcycle works. Can anyone help?

My almost 2 week old gets the hiccups ALL THE TIME! Seriously it happens about 3-5 times a day and lasts for almost 10 minutes sometimes. (she also would have them in the womb all the time as well!) I know there is nothing wrong with having the hiccups but she really gets upset and I dont know a good way to try and get rid of them. I usually just hold her upright and pat her back like I am burping her. Does anyone have any great ideas that help to get rid of baby's hiccups?

Thanks!

With an elective C-section I get a week of dates to choose from for my child's birthdate. I know it's going to be a girl--and I can choose any day from Feb. 18th to Feb. 21st.
(though the sooner the better!!) So I'm trying to choose between the 18th and the 19th---and these are two very different zodiac signs. Any input is appreciated!! p.s. we have a 2 year old son who is a Libra--and he is the sweetest and most loving little guy!

My cousin and I live in different states. We are the same age (in our 20s).
We communicate via email off and on. She writes very brief emails but she talks alot in person. And I write long emails because I glean more in email conversations than I do in person.
Anyway, recently I asked her what's new in her life and she responded back and gave her her brief news and then she asked me if we're (me and my spouse) are gonna have more kids. We have only 1 so far.
I wrote back and said that I lost a baby last year in my pregnancy and I wrote a lengthy email about it and other stuff.
I have yet heard from her about acknowledging my loss. Instead, she sends "forwarded/fwd" chain emails that you fwd to your friends.
I even sent my cousin a Christmas Card but it got sent back to me because she no longer lives at that address ("return to sender" by marked by the post office).
Even her brother doesn't know her new address. Why didn't my cousin inform us? Why didn't she acknowledge my loss?

THEREFORE, leaving the principles of the doctrine of Christ, let us go on unto perfection; not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works, and of faith toward God.
