What do you play more the 360 or Wii? The reason for this questioning, is that the PS3 is much more like the 360 in the types of games it has than the Wii.
The PS3 is going to have your shooters, RPGs, Sports (realistic), action adventure games just like the 360. If you find yourself playing the Wii more than your 360, then getting rid of your Wii for a PS3 is probably not a smart move. The PS3 isn't going to have the games that the Wii has.

No dont get tid of the Wii it is a truly awesome machine (its technically not next gen)
But if you think the PS3 is too expensive just look at what you get with it.
Blu Ray DVD player - the stand alone players cost nearly twice as much as the playstation on their own, and the 360s HD DVD player is an optional extra.
Wifi connectivity - The internet wifi connection is built in and the 360s is an optional extra
Multiple merory slots - like merory card duo, 360 doesnt have these
Free online gaming - 360 charges you for everything you do online even just changing your name

So when you put it all together you save a bunch of money by buying the PS3 as opposed to the 360 and now as its the more powerful it will be the runaway winner of this battle.
PS2 least powerful - winner
PS1 least powerful - winner

First thing to do is lift up your right foot, then stomp directly down on your 360. Repeat until all that is left is a broken crappy xbox logo, then buy a ps3. BTY, keep the wii, totally different play than the high powered ps3 and lots of fun too.

Get rid of 360 and PS2 and buy PS3 80GB - you'll be able to play PS2 games and enjoy PS3 games at the same time. 360 is ok, but it has 33% failure rate. BTW, Wii is the weakest console on the market (technically).

Why must you get rid of he wii?
Why not just buy a ps3 aswell?
Or you could sell the ps2 and xbox?

Actually, why not get rid of the Ps2 and get a ps3 since it has backwards compatibility? That way you can play all games you currently like.

It's too early to start selling one system for another, you'll just regret it down the line. Just wait until you can afford a PS3 straight up and keep the Wii.

If you don't want it, sell it on E-Bay, or give it to someone as a christmas present.

If you still want to keep it, party around with it, like mario party.

You need help. Priorities. Sell something else and get a PS3 as well.
