A recent paper by Douglass, Singer, Christy et al claimed that because the tropical troposphere is not warming as much as the AGW theory predicts, the warming is most likely due to natural causes.

Ignoring the flaws in the "natural causes" theories, let's examine their claims regarding this flaw in the theory. There are many issues with the measurement of the tropospheric temperature. Satellites and ballons all have biases which need to be corrected in order to accurately measure the tropospheric temperature.

RealClimate analyzes the paper and troposphere measurement and concludes:

"This...is a demonstration that there is no clear model-data discrepancy in tropical tropospheric trends once you take the systematic uncertainties in data and models seriously. Funnily enough, this is exactly the conclusion reached by a much better paper by P. Thorne and colleagues. Douglass et al's claim to the contrary is simply unsupportable."

I just stumbled across a website making this allegation. Apparently the Mormon bible says that God's curse on Cain was dark skin, and to father an inferior race?? The dark skin thing hasn't appeared in any bible I've ever read. I realize Mormons use a different version. But is this still the belief? Are there any Mormons out there that can give us some insight?

...like Yuck!!! A nephew of mine has become soooooooo obsessed with some of those old grindhouse-type movies, which I guess they made in the 70's and 80's; one that he's desperately looking for, has something to do with a crazy insane seriel killer (...like, are there any other kind?), who traps helpless women in his house, and burns them alive. He swears that this movie does exist, and has seen it, but he doesn't knows the title of it...

...can someone out there tell me that this yucky-sounding movie DOESN'T exist, so that I can get him a fruticake, instead....'cause that's what he is....a fruitcake, for wanting something like this at Christmas!!!

i met a great guy today, he is italian strong accent great job 26 quite wealthy, and acts wealthy!

how do u go about telling a loved one about addiction?
