Since I installed Norton from your website, it keeps asking me to "activate" the program. Trying to do that locks up my computer and I can't do ANYTHING! How do I solve this problem?

Consider yourself lucky that you are unable to activate Nortons. One of the very worse antivirus program on the market for years and keeps getting worse.

Hugh resource hog, poor job of scanning for viruses. If any are found fails to remove them 100%. Fragments are always left behind.

If you go to add/remove to take out Nortons, you only think Nortons has been removed. Surprise, you are left with about 375 fragments glued to your registry keys, files/folders and hidden in your subsystem. For sure you are going to play hell trying to remove. Plus causes conflict with your system an any other antivirus.

Best of luck to you with Nortons.

If you have not paid for Nortons via credit card, you can download a free antivirus that is light years ahead of Nortons. You will get an excellent background scanner, plus on the hour updates. Avast free for home personal use. http://www.avast.com (I use an antivirus from Beijing, China. http://www.filseclab.com
