i met a great guy today, he is italian strong accent great job 26 quite wealthy, and acts wealthy!
im black 20 in uni, (not as wealthy) or as wealthy in behaviour...
he seemed very sweet, we had lunch, he even got me a gift £50 dior perfume set for my mum as an xmas gift...
he had great hair... (i loved his hair...so sexyy!)
with such different backgrounds do you think it could work...

The different backgrounds doesn't really matter or define whether or not your relationship will work. It's the reasons you love each other. Right now you sound like all your materialist needs are being met. You sound like you love what he does for you- he's physically appealing to you and can take care of you financially. You like the sense of security, but do you really love him?
If you keep focusing on what he can do and not him then don't expect your relationship last long.
