Hi I found this on one of my quizzes and cant understand the question. any help is appreciated.

You can decrease the pitch of a guitar string by replacing that string with a thicker string. list two other different means of decreasing the pitch of the original guitar string.

Asides from using a bigger string, you can also decrese it by lessening the tension. The only other way is to take your finger off the string, (because your finger on the string makes it "shorter") the longer a string the lower the pitch.
