i will now enlighten everyone lol the idea of reading the newspaper while on the loo came from when people used to use newspaper as loo roll it wasnt that soft to be honest
its also where the expression this newspaper is full of ..... came from

absolutely, it's the best place to read... time on the toilet is usually wasted twiddling thumbs... you should be brushing your teeth or brushing up on your shakespeare during the time
