Ah, 2007. We hardly knew you (and in my case, which I hadn't know you, but that's another story for another day). With the year in question coming to a close, what are your 2008 hockey New Year's resolutions?

My partner has a house under her name, though her mother pays the mortgage and for all intents and purposes owns the house. The mortgage and deed are under my partner's name however.

When we apply to buy a home together, this being my first home, what effect will that other house have on us financially? Specifically, will a lender penalize us because of the other house? Will this affect the rate we get? Will this affect the amount of credit offered to us?

Assume we are married, the other house is legally separate property, acquired before marriage, and being paid with separate property funds.

Also, what effect would it have if the first house has a mortgage balance that exceeds the current appraisal value?

I teach for a preschool that is in a Methodist Church. Our curriculum provides light bible teachings... very generalized bible stories. Recently, a parent of a child attending told us that her child was not permitted to join in on Halloween and now Christmas activities and they would not be attending our parties. We assume the family is a JW (mother has not provided any information on this and we don't wish to pry), but were confused on why a JW would send their child to a Methodist based preschool when nondenominational preschools are also available in our area? I know very little on the JW religion and do not want to offend the family and want to make sure we don't offend them. We were also concerned since we do teach them the Pledge and the little I do know tells me the child should not be participating in this. Thanks in advance for all of your help.

Hello everyone, i wanted some insight from people who might know. I've been extremely tired for the past three weeks, and at the end of most nights i get a migraine. They get so it doesn't matter if i take excedrin, i just need to sleep it off. It's kinda interupting my life because i have friends who want to go out, and i make plans, then need to cancel later because of my migraine. Does this sound like migraines or something worse? LIke i said before I am also really exhausted and don't know if being tired is causing it or if it is an underlying problem.

I got arrested a couple weeks ago for DUI and I'm 18... I was drinking mouth rinse (no joke) by myself b/c I was angry and depressed. Somehow I got in my car and drove, I don't remember how/when, but I blew a .173 3 1/2 hours after my last drink.

My parents told me that alcoholism runs in the family and they hope I never drink again.... I truly believe I can responsibly drink beer with other people(when I'm 21) though... I just made a huge mistake drinking being depressed+angry.

Should I be given a chance to drink responsibly with others when I'm old enough?

I heard the movie came from a book. Doesn't it seem like the "Leader" of the zombies had a special had for Neville? I mean, do you think he could have been someone that he knew? maybe an old enemy or a close friend that was angry with him for not finding a cure and being immune

What forces apply on diffrent parts of a roller coaster?
I know that GPE, EK, Friction, Air resistance, Normal apply on almost every part of the roller coaster, but if I want to be exact:

1) What other force applies on a roller coaster model?
2) Explain a bit more about the force of .... I don't know what it's called, but I think it has something to do with the turning around a "center" in the loops.

I am married and have a kid, but for some reason I love having sex with other women. I usually tell my wife I am going out to a friend's house when I am actually going out with some girls I met at night school (college) and we usually sleep together. I like being married and having that family, but at the same time I like having that party life and having many partners. I guess I want to know from people who have lived this way before, would it be better for me to just dump the wife and live my night life or quit the other one. I want both but....I guess I like the fact that when I don't go out on a weekend and have sex with someone else that my wife is at home to be there for me instead so it's like I'm never alone. I like that, but I also like the sexy, irresponsibleness attitude of these other young women. Thanks for your posts in advance!!

Hi. I'm thirteen. I've lost some weight, but gained it back. I'm not anorexic, I want to be healthy.
I want a tight stomach with abs, toned legs and arms, and i want to look good!
How many calories should I eat?
How long do I need to run on the treadmill?
How do you do the right situp? I cross my arms over my chest, and go up off the ground only about 5 cm, is that about right?
Kay thanks!!
SO MUCH!<3

As an intrepid businessperson, you have the power (and budget) to ice a solid expansion squad for the upcoming season. However, every good team builder needs to start somewhere. If given the wonderful task of starting a new NHL team, who would you pick (out of the current pool of players, head/assistant coaches, and general/assistant mangers) to start your team?

Player?

Coach?

General Manager?

Captain?

Broadcaster?

No one makes a small pickup that gets more than 30 mpg on the highway. Why doesn't Toyota, for example, make a Corolla-based pickup with a short pickup bed? The Corolla gets close to 40 mpg - with the reduced aerodynamics of the pickup bed, it would still probably get 35 mpg. And I will guarantee you they could sell 100,000 of them a year.

My partner and I have decided that we want to take Tae Kwon Do. Back in the 80's, I was in the Army and trained in Judo/JJ. Currently, I have multiple sclerosis and also wear a de-rotational knee brace (CTi) that keeps my knee nice and stable during cutting activities. I am ambulatory with MS.

1) Will I be able to wear my knee brace in practice (is this prohibited)?

2) Can people with MS take martial arts and progress through the belts? Are there modified classes that allow us to progress?

I want to take TKD to increase my balance and strength. I need to get through a surgery (thyroid) first but believe that by Spring I should be in gear. I am working on some flexibility now and have a couple of books on the topic.

I'm really excited and motivated (and it gives me something to shoot for after this surgery). Just wanted to hear some expertise. :)

Thanks
