I would like to debate whether or not I and other Christians (even if your just "Sunday go ta meetin'" Christians) could make wiser use of our time (and therefore the Lords time), doing something that would actually do something to glorify God, instead of asking and answering the unbelievers a slew of non accentual questions?

Though it may be fun.

I've recently become a Christian but I'm having problems with the "wives must submit to their husbands" bit in the Bible. Any suggestions on how to deal with this aspect? My husband already tried to control everything before I became a Christian but now it has become worse - and of course he claims that the Bible says he should be the one who makes the decisions on everything. Including what I should think!

When I turn on the laptop, the lan switch turns green and works for a minute or two, but then it shuts down and won't work even though it is switched on. the laptop is a Sony Vaio nr180e. I have uninstalled andreinstalled the driver but it still won't work. if anyone has had this happen to them or knows of a solution, please help!

ok well i think this guy may like me. i have 3 classes with him. i catch him listening to my convesations sometimes, playing attention to what i wear (he commented that we both have a pink floyd shirt), and i catch him staring at me sometimes. also when my friends are mean to me and i go over to hang out with him i ask him if im bugging him and he quickly says no.

i like him alot but something happened over the weekend.
my mother rear ended his sister yesterday (my mom was only going like 2 mph and she was stopped so it wasnt huge at all and no one was hurt) and he was in the car and it was kinda awkward/embarrassing because he kept staring at me the whole time and kept grinning.
do u think he likes me?
do u think he'll make a huge deal on monday about what happened?

Why so much hate and bigotry here? I mean, sheeesh. A man who believe in Jesus asked a question about the existance of Jesus, and I quted a scripture to him: Luke 2:10-11 : "And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people. For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord. "

My husband and I have just found out that my 14 year old stepson with ADHD has been touching out 4 year old daught. She is my only child and my little girl. I feel like I hate him he is no longer aloud to spend the night! Hope am I suppose to feel or react.

The power supply went out of my old pc so i bought a new power supply and now the thing wont turn on at all except for the fans spinning for like 2 milliseconds when you first plug it in. I talked to the technician and he said it is probably the mother board. Can i just use any motherboard on my computer and hopes it works or do i have to buy a certain one and how much would the price of one run?

We are told in the Bible that Abraham was willing to sacrifice his son Isaac on a stone altar to God, but what about Ishmael? He was born because Sarah wanted a son for Abraham, and she let Abraham marry her servant Hagar. Yet, when Isaac was born, Abraham sent Ishmael - a defenseless teenager! - and his mother away, out into the desert. Why would he do something so heartless? I know that Sarah wanted him to, but how could he abandon his own flesh and blood like that? None of it makes sense to me!

I am applying to a high school, and part of the admissions process is an interview. I have heard that they ask questions such as "Why do you want to attend school here?", "What will you bring to this school?", etc. Tips on answering and any general interviewing tips would be greatly appreciated.

I have this vision that shows my house burning.
I cant see any lights that may have caused this but the only thing that I know is that its night time. Its nearly Christmas and we are about to put the Christmas lights on, but I am really scared about this happening. Please dont scare me out, I am only 11 years old, will this really happen? I live in Australia and this is a country where bushfires happen, but in the area that I live we have no bush fires. Please tell me, I am telling my parents that I dont want to have the Christmas Lights on yet, but they keep telling me that its okay and it wont happen.
But you see, I can see some scenes on the future, and some did happen while some hasn't but they show me when I'm older. Please help!!
