Well I have a "crush" on this guy at school. I don't really know him, I pass him in the hall sometimes. I've never talked to him or anything, but I'd be too shy. I mean it would seem weird if I went up to some random kid and stared talking to him. I would feel even more weird if I just went up to him and told him that I liked him. Well, I would be terrified if he thought I was creepy or something. I don't take rejection very well. I've never talked to him or anything, but he's really cute and I want to get to know him more. But how? What do I do?

What's the point of it if one of the assumptions is "the population size doesn't increase or decrease during the sampling study"?

Isn't the point of the mark-recapture method to determine what the population is?

I have a group of friends, and we were really close until now. My jealousy is getting int he way of our friendship. Theyre all skinnier and prettier than me. Guys always flirt them them and they've all had boyfriends and have been kissed and everything. Guys never flirt with me, ive never had a boyfriend, been kissed, or even been called pretty by a guy. I cant stand being around them because everytime I see them getting guy attention or flirting I just feel like dying. It makes me feel hopeless and ugly and fat. Becuase of them, I am convinced I will never find someone who likes me because I am so hideous and that I have no use in the world because I'll never find that someone. I know that sounds pathetic, but that's truly how bad its gotten.

I dont want to end a friendship with them over something stupid like this, but I dont want to keep this way either. What should I do?

Right now in Florida, it is VERY hard to get accepted into the University of Florida. I dont believe I can get accepted to it but I would like to get accepted into law school. Considering that right now, UF is the best college in the state and that I cant get into it, would that hurt my chances in getting accepted into law school? What about if I wanted to attend Florida State University, University of South Florida, etc. would they not care as long as I had the LSAT scores and good grades?

I'm trying to find a funny/clever + flirty way of saying something. Basically, my friend Anna just told me through text message that I should get a Santa Hat for my dog ...I replied by telling her she is mean...She texted back and said "it would be so cute!" Iraqi christians are suffering in iraq (im one of them) i do not know why the media put blind eye on the suffering. Before the war there was 3 million iraqi christians in iraq... after the war there is only 700,000 iraqi christians...some of them ran away to other countries (like me) and others died because they are christians....muslims are focring us to convert to islam, getkilled, or pay (al jzya) which is islamic law that forces non-muslims to pay tax, ...so i decided to leave iraq because there is no way that im converting to islam im CHRSITian and proud...it is sad to leave iraq because christain iraqi including chaldeans and assyrians are native iraqis...its our home
