"All you may know of heaven or hell
is within your own self."
"From what may anyone be saved?
Only from themselves!
That is, their individual hell.
They dig it with their own desires."
Cayce's breakdown of Revelation:
http://near-death.com/experiences/cayce10.html
Cayce was Christian, BTW.
Cayce said that hell is a place we go after death to face our demons...our own evil desires, guilt, etc, that keep us from the Light (Christ-consciousness). We are reincarnated until we obtain the perfect Christ-consciousness. This fits in nicely with this scripture, if you consider that hell is facing ourselves, and that until we do so, we are reincarnated again and again:
John 3:19:
19This is the verdict: Light has come into the world, but men loved darkness instead of light because their deeds were evil. 20Everyone who does evil hates the light, and will not come into the light for fear that his deeds will be exposed.

The scripture quoted is from the block of scripture where Jesus tells Nicodemus that all must be "born again" to see the Kingdom of Heaven.

But Saving, he doesn't add to or take away from Revelation, he just interprets it differently.

Eric,
Revelation 3:18:
I counsel you to buy from me gold refined in the fire, so you can become rich; and white clothes to wear, so you can cover your shameful nakedness; and salve to put on your eyes, so you can see.
1 Peter 1:7:
These have come so that your faith—of greater worth than gold, which perishes even though refined by fire—may be proved genuine and may result in praise, glory and honor when Jesus Christ is revealed.
Fire is used over and over again as a tool for cleansing the soul; same as Cayce describes.

Eric, would it not be torment to face what is wrong within your own soul, heart, and mind?

Jean, everything you've said can apply to souls of the wicked in this earthly realm.
I see none of you who are not agreeing even bothered to read the breakdown. *sigh* You can't even open your minds enough to LOOK at a different interpretation.

Julan, not sure what you are saying, but neither the poplar Christian interpretation of John or Cayce's claim to be John. They are interpretations.

Cayce didn't say that Christ is not the way to salvation. Cayce only made a statement about what we are being saved from. He believed that Christ is the way.

Michael, what is a True Christian, and how are you the judge of that? Am I a True Christian? I am Christian you know...just open to other interpretations.

Eds, are you aware that Biblical scholars only agree that four of the epistles are genuinely Paul's? Some scholars believe the rest may have been written by an impostor.

As you know, I don't believe in hell at all. I don't believe in punishment, because I know God doesn't revenge. However, I believe God gives us opportunities to learn and He allows us to suffer only because we misuse our free-will. The best way to get the opportunity to improve one's spirit is through several lives and this is period to me.
I understand and agree with Caice's way of putting things. Just as I believe we come to this world to learn over and over and when we achieve Perfection, we don't have to come anymore. What is Perfection in the spiritual sense? Be like Jesus and follow his teachings completely. Can we be like that? If we could, there would be no reason to come as a human being, we could as well stay in heaven with the angels, but if we are here it is because we still have something to improve in ourselves. Do you consider yourself achieving Jesus' purposes in this life? Good for you, but most of us are still way too far from that. I can't even imagine a better way to progress and achieve Jesus' purpose if not through several lives and I thank God everyday for this opportunity.
No hell... just oportunity to progress.
Peace!

I am a Christian and I do NOT believe that Mr Cayce is reading the same Bible that I have been reading for the last twenty plus years. I believe that he is really a long ways from being what I consider to be a Christian. That is strictly My Opinion. Have a great week.
Thanks,
Eds
EDIT:
I still agree with Rev Albert and Serving Lord Jesus...
Continuing in your question... You wrote that "Cayce said that hell is a place we go after death to face our demons...our own evil desires, guilt, etc, that keep us from the Light (Christ-consciousness). We are reincarnated until we obtain the perfect Christ-consciousness. This fits in nicely with this scripture, if you consider that hell is facing ourselves, and that until we do so, we are reincarnated again and again:"
However, The Bible says that " It is appointed unto men ONCE to die and after this the judgement". I believe the BIBLE over what any man, woman, or child believes about our FATHER. I believe that HIS WORD is very clear on the subject. There is NO Reference to reincarnation in the Bible or in any other Christian's writings from, that time. The Apostle Paul had extensive writings and letters that were included in the Bible and I believe that he would have mentioned this in his writings along with all of the other items that he expounded on to the churches of CHRIST. I do NOT believe that the King James Version is as far from the Original writings as YOU might think.

First Quote: In a way its kindof right. If you are evil, you will go to hell. If you are good you'll go to heaven.
Second: I think that possibly, in hell you get tortured by which ever of the seven deadly sins you commited the most while on earth
Me: about the first thing i said, you cant just be good to get into heaven. You have to believe that Jesus is Gods ONLY son and that he is your savior. But even with that, you aren't for sure saved. Cayce didn't know the bible. Hell is definitely a place of weeping and gnashing of teeth, because Christ said so.
We wrestle with demons here on this earth. We don't wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world , against spiritual wickedness in high places. Ephesians 6:12

I think Cayce is a very interesting figure in history, I like a lot of what he has to say. I have been coming to an understanding that Heaven and Hell is right here with it overlaid on reality and we decide which one we wish to exist in. I think there are some similarities in that. Also I like to the idea that everything that exists without exists within us.

he's wrong...starting with ur last Nicodemus being told by Jesus says that all must be 'born again' has nothin to do with being re-incarnated.....Hell is a place of fire(sulfur) and torments...a place really for the Devil and his angels(demons) 1/3 of the stars of Heaven....reincarnation is not happening lady...totally off:)
