Yes you can, but take some computer classes too- maybe you will learn what spell check is for. Just know that to be a CPA in most states(it does vary), you will have to go to school full time for at least 5 years and have generally at least two years experience working in an accounting field (at a level which requires an upper level education).

You can continue your education at any age... My grandfather went back to school for computer drafting AND graduated while in his 50's... You may want to consider a career where you don't have to spell...Good luck
