Iraqi christians are suffering in iraq (im one of them) i do not know why the media put blind eye on the suffering. Before the war there was 3 million iraqi christians in iraq... after the war there is only 700,000 iraqi christians...some of them ran away to other countries (like me) and others died because they are christians....muslims are focring us to convert to islam, getkilled, or pay (al jzya) which is islamic law that forces non-muslims to pay tax, ...so i decided to leave iraq because there is no way that im converting to islam im CHRSITian and proud...it is sad to leave iraq because christain iraqi including chaldeans and assyrians are native iraqis...its our home

this is video showing how muslims are treating iraqi christians in iraq

Brother or sister, my heart is weeping for you and others like you! I am sorry for your sadness in having to leave your home. Remember that your reward will be great and that anything lost now will be restored! God is a God of restoration and healing. I am praying for the healing of the Iraqi Christians! God bless you richly! You are in my prayers. The media here does not focus on this very much. I have only heard one story on this. Please keep us informed!
I send my love!
Your sister in Christ

There's not question that it's terrible. The sad fact is, the media has many other things they think is "newsworthy"; they'd rather film carnage and destruction than anything else, where Iraq is concerned. That, and they'd rather paint U.S. soldiers in a bad light by making it look like they're indiscriminately killing every Muslim they see, than show Muslims killing Iraqi Christians, Iraqi Jews, or other Iraqi Muslims. Fortunately, some of us (in particular, those of us who have been to Iraq) know better. Hopefully, some day, more attention will be paid to your plight, and Iraq will be treated as more than just a source of footage fodder. I know that many Iraqi Christians had taken refuge up north, around Sulaimaniyah, when I was there. I hope the recent problems with the Kurds and the Turks hasn't made things worse in that area.

You're right, you don't see much in the media concerning Iraqi Christians, but it is not a popular topic in the media to show Christians being persecuted. I had heard something about Christians in Muslim countries, but not in the popular media. I used to know a family who were Iraqi Christians. They worked at the same school as I did. They came to the States a couple of decades ago. I hope things get better for you. I can only imagine how difficult it must be.

No, there are many people that know you suffer and that pray for you. My friend has a prayer group for persecuted Christians and that includes Iraqis. I'm sorry you had to leave your country. I pray that you will able to return one day when Christ reigns in Iraq. Inshallah!!

I'm sorry to say that the Christians in America are sleeping and that includes me. I am glad you have put this message out to us and I hope it will cause us to pray because prayer is the strongest weapon any believer in Jesus can have.

I will ask you and your friends to pray for America with all your hearts, because though you have seen a very visual and painful war in your country, Americans are fighting a deceitful and invisible enemy.
We are in a spiritual war and most Christians don't even know it. Our enemy is nice to us and offers us a nice life which makes us go to sleep and not stand up for Christian causes.

Please pray for us.
I will start now to pray for you
with the help of our God
and our savior Jesus Christ.

We know about you and we are praying for you/....

The liberal media in America is run by the godless and anti -God folks so you cannot count on them to let America know the truth of what is going on in Iraq.

They have only one goal in mind ...to make everything in Iraq look bad and worse so the democrats can win the next election.

these liberal Democraps....do not care about the iraqis and hate Christians...Please let your Iraqi friends know that the media is your greatest enemy in getting help for Iraq...good thing enough American ignore the liberal media's lies or you wouldn't even have the freedom you have today.

Your Christian friends in America...

God bess.

I am so sorry it must be terrible for you. No one in the USA does not like Iraq citizens. Especially those who are Christian faith. Our hearts go out to you in your hour of suffering. Most of the fear or hate comes against the Islamic religion. For the terrible things they have done to its own citizens. But especially for what that religion allows men to do to women.
For the Christians who live there we pray every day for them.
You must know that God who loves his people will resurrect all those who have died for their faith. HOpefully those are the ones who will be allowed to immigrate to the USA.
We welcome any Iraq citizens who are Christians realizeing the terrible things they have had to suffer to be a Christian.
Be firm in your resolve not to be forced into serving Satan.

I was not aware. I will pray for you and those still living in Iraq.

Matthew 5:10
Blessed are those who are persecuted because of righteousness, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

Have a blessed day!

Iraqi Christian,
I am sure that our Media ikn the USA will never show this. They are more interested in getting our troops out of the war then stirring up our citizens to fight injustice. I am sorry that you and your fellow-countrymen have been mistreated by your own people. That is really sad indeed! I pray that eventually you will be able to return to your homeland and be free to worship as you please. Have a good week.
Thanks,
Eds

Actually the media here in the United States is beginning to give this coverage. I watched a program about it just last week where they interviewed Anglican Minister and several of his parishioners. It was very enlightening and quite shocking.
