He is a highly skilled worker but struggles at the work place as far as getting along with co-workers and the stress of work gets him mad and ends up quiting. Someone told him he should apply for SSI (disability), but should he see like a psychologist or something and be under their care so that when he files for SSI there won't be a question of his disability? Like doesn't he have to be diagnost or something? I really believe he may be bipolar. Is there anyone out there that knows the pros and cons of this or maybe some websites that can help us get the facts! This is a serious matter and we prefer mature replys only! Thank YOU!

i've been seeing the word a lot in questions lately, and it seems to be somewhat of an insult to whomever the word is referring to? however the breakdown of the word christophobe means one who fears christ. and all christians claim to be god fearing, so if christians are god fearing and christ is god, then aren't christophobes christians? why doesn't the asker just say christians? it's a lot less confusing and we already know what a christian is?

Even most scientists are confused about this question today.

These are proofs of flat earth theory and creationism..
http://www.alaska.net/~clund/e_djublonskopf/FlatWhyFlat.htm
http://www.theflatearthsociety.org

Enter the Flat Earth Society. For over five hundred years humanity has believed the "round Earth" teachings of Efimovich and his followers.

But all hope is not lost. For through all that time, a small but diligent band of individuals have preserved the knowledge of our planet's true shape. And now, after centuries in the Dark Ages, we believe that mankind as a whole is once again ready to embrace the truth that has forever been the Flat Earth Society.

Using whatever means are deemed necessary and relying heavily on a callous disregard for the lives and well-being of our members, we have slowly but steadily been spreading the news.

If humans someday manage to colonize planets in other solar systems, do you think that the colonists are likely to practice the Christian religion on those other worlds? Or is Christianity too Earth-centric?

For instance, according to the bible, when Jesus returns he is going to come down from the clouds to Earth with trumpets blazing, etc. But, if Jesus is supposed to return to Earth, what about all the colonies on other worlds? Would Jesus do a repeat performance on all of them?

Satan was supposedly cast down to Earth by God. How would that belief work out with people being on other planets? Do you think they would assume that Satan had to stay on Earth because that's where God threw him down?

Do you think there would be a large enough number of theological problems in relating Christianity to new worlds that it would eventually discourage people from believing in Christianity when living on other worlds?

Some claims made in an open letter to the Secretary-General of the United Nations by a group of scientists skeptical of anthropogenic global warming.

http://www.nationalpost.com/news/story.html?id=164002

1) "The average rate of warming of 0.1 to 0. 2 degrees Celsius per decade recorded by satellites during the late 20th century falls within known natural rates of warming and cooling over the last 10,000 years."

Ridiculous. In the Younger Dryas (abrupt cooling period about 10,000 years ago), the prevailing theory holds that the cooling was caused by a significant reduction or shutdown of the North Atlantic thermohaline circulation. This major natural change still only caused a cooling period one-third as fast as the current warming.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Younger_Dryas#Causes_of_the_Younger_Dryas

2) "There has been no net global warming since 1998."

Flat-out lie.

http://tamino.files.wordpress.com/2007/08/t1998.jpg

Do you think they believe these claims?

Well, here's the thing. I think I am lonely and it's causing other problems as well. When I see a loving couple together, or people with their friends, I feel resentment for them. I no longer have any friends, my last few turned out to be real jerks and they ditched me. But I feel resentment for other people when they have frendship or a relationship and are happy. How can I get over my feelings of resentment? All I wanna do is make friends and not be lonely, but my shyness and quietness gets in the way because I'm too self-consciebntious of how I talk, because people at other schools always made fun of it, and I don't want that happening again at this new one. I avoid social situations, and feel resentment, yet I want friends really, really bad. I HATE THE LONELINESS! How can I get people to talk to me, and how can I talk to people easier? When I had friends, I felt no resentment, but being alone all the time does it. Please help!!!
