Legally it is not prostitution it is a gift. (A very tacky gift but a gift none the less.) For it to be considered prostitution you have to not only ask for the money but in most state in the U.S. you need to also quote a price or accept the price offered by the client for the service to be rendered.

Well normally I would not try to counsel a religious person because they tend to follow teachings I do not accept. In your case what you did was perfectly normal and a couple of times a year is nothing. It is far better to see a professional sex worker than to lie to a perfectly innocent girl in order to have sex with her. In the West far too many men think it acceptable to take advantage of a woman's trust in order to have sex. And hopefully the money you gave will have been spent on improving the masseuse's life. Maybe it fed her children? I think you will always regret what you did, but you are very lucky to have a sensible and understanding woman to be your wife. Go enjoy your future together and enjoy each other's bodies as man and wife. Good luck

Now that is a really funny question. I think prostitution is when the money is asked for prior to sex.

Maybe you never intended on it being prostitution, but i'd say it was, as someone said previously...you were paid for sex. If i had sex with someone on first date and he gave me money afterwards i would be insulted cos i'd feel cheap and dirty, i wouldnt accept his money. But each to their own i guess.

I'm confused? Why doesn't your husband care your going out on dates with other men and having sex with them? Oh yeah that's right because your bringing home the money. Doesn't that make your husband your pimp?

If I were out with a man that I thought enough of to do that with, and he gave me money I think I would turn pastey white from shock.

i guess it depends on whether or not you take the money...
but technically your not putting yourself up for prostitution, so i don't think so.

Yep. It's prostitution. Did you take it? Why would you tell your husband this anyway?
