How do you know the bible is right?

It was written by a bunch of people centeries ago. and what were there sorces? a voice they heard that nobody else could! and for stories like the burning bush, how do we know that they were not on drugs and hallucinating?

the bible is not supposed to be right or wrong i think we all forgot that it is a bunch of other peoples experiences now if u have similar experiences u can read it and see what the outcome was for them if u do not have similar experiences then the bible means nothing to u they r stories and as time went onwe should have continued them instead of putting this book up on a pedestal if it were to be continued it would be more beleivable because it would be updated and not seem so outdated there is no right n wrong in a story book

Much of what Moses had recorded was from word of mouth over thousands of years before him. He had it all recorded approximately 3,319 years ago.

And since it is evident that you have not actually read the torah.. it might be a good idea for you to do so soon. In that way.. and in that way only will you be able to judge for yourself without interference from what everyone else thinks..

Just look at the people who believe it: they are mostly judgmental, politically and socially insensitive and intolerant, puritanical and secretly very corrupt, (in the US at least they are) mostly Republican, mostly white, mostly conservative, mostly male dominated and dogmatic. They are exclusive not INclusive, elitist, two-faced, hypocritical, homophobic, zealot war-mongers and draft-dodgers themselves. These are some of the reasons you can tell that the bible is right: just look at the people who believe it. If you're not like THEM, chances are you're wrong and they're RIGHT. Using this as a guide, you can stay away from them.

I do not KNOW whether or not it is right. I believe it is a fictitious work of humankind and that it offers some good lessons for living along with a boatload of perverted stories written by miscreants.
