People choose not to read much anymore. Willful ignorance is a problem in real life. People spend time on Facebook and Yahoo instead of reading. We watch too many reality shows and not enough news shows. The problem in Fahrenheit 451 was just not that people watched too much TV it was that TV shows had no content. Linda, the wife, watches a show about seating arrangments. Technology is good if the content is good.

Most people here who answer questions don't mind providing a little help or pointing a questioner in the right direction, however, here it is a desire to do all of the questioner's homework. Further, it is homework easily completed by the reading of the book. A book by the way which is a fast easy read. You will do yourself far more good by reading the book itself.

people sure have gotten lazy - they expect everyone to give them the answer to their homework instead of doing the work themselves -- what will you do when you get out in the real world - someone is going to give you all the wrong answers and do a happy dance when you get an F for being lazy

You really need to read the book, kid. At the very least, get the Cliff Notes. If this is due Monday, you'd better get offline and start reading.
