you're very emotional, not crazy. if you've not always been this, it may be hormonal -- menopause does stuff like this. it ain't fun but it can be managed.

on the other hand, being emotional is not a bad thing unless it gets in the way of your good judgment.

If your a Woman, no if you man your estrogen level is to high get it checked.

Women are more emotional then men, and around your period this tends to show up more. Don't take this as bad, I think it is one of the reasons women make good mothers is because of their emotions.

If it makes you feel better, I still cry watching TV or a movie and I'm a big guy that has been to war a few times and you wouldn't think I had a soft bone in my body. Yes it's true, some me do cry! their I said it, now I can go and eat my breakfast and feel good about the day Mr. Phil!

I would agree with the others. Premenopause, everyone reacts to the hormonal change differently. I would suggest a visit to your doctor to help you out and not be so emotional.

Do remember that everyone needs a good cry now and then, measure the stresses in your life, which contributes majorly in a number of ways.

"Stupidest" is not a word. "dumbest" may work better. :)

Wow...some of these answers are rude and crazy!!! This is a very hard question to answer, how are you usually in the past, have you had stress lately, are you maybe pre-menopausal? I think we all have moments of feeling out of sorts, it DOESN'T necessarily mean your bi-polar!!! Only you can evaluate yourself emotionally and if it has been way off for you then I would advise speaking to your doctor! Good Luck

Having a heart and having it touched by little things is not stupid. Crying is just an outward expression of how deeply something affects you. To be able to cry for someone's joy, or for your own, is a blessing. There's way to many of us in our 40's and beyond that have been hardened by life that we are no longer affected so deeply. Relish your gift.

Being an emotional person is not a bad thing, the fact that you feel for people is a good thing, if you were stone cold I would be more worried about you. By the way i am 40 also Congrats!!

Generally, in the age of forty all sort of behaviour will come. That is a confused age. Even, some wil go for seeking alliances illegally. so, no wonder for the cry... so cry .. loudly..

Stupidest is not a word and it's probably just hormonal changes making you so emotional.
