everyone is always calling me smart and what a great men i'v become if this is ture if i'm as smart as they say how come i can't live on my own how come i can't think for myself i mean i'm 16 and i know how life works i know what its like in the " real world" how come can anyone tell me that

A little old lady went into the Bank of Canada one day,
carrying a bag of money. She insisted that she must speak
with the president of the bank to open a savings account
because, "It's a lot of money!"

After much hemming and hawing, the bank staff finally
ushered her into the president's office. The bank president
then asked her how much she would like to deposit. She
replied, "$5,165,000!" and dumped the cash out of her bag
onto his desk.

The president was of course curious as to how she came by all
this cash, so he asked her, "Ma'am, I'm surprised you're
carrying so much cash around. Where did you get this money?"

The old lady replied, "I make bets."

The president then asked, "Bets? What kind of bets?"

The old woman said, "Well, for example, I'll bet you $525,000
that your balls are square."

"Ha!" laughed the president, "That's a stupid bet. You can
never win that kind of bet!"

The old lady challenged, "So, would you like to take my bet?"

"Sure," said the president, "I'll bet $525,000 that my balls
are not square!"

The little old lady then said, "Okay, but since there is a
lot of money involved, may I bring my lawyer with me tomorrow
at 10:00 am as a witness?"

"Sure!" replied the confident president.

That night, the president got very nervous about the bet and
spent a long time in front of a mirror checking his balls,
turning from side to side, again and again. He thoroughly
checked them out until he was sure that there was absolutely
no way his balls were square and that he would win the bet.

The next morning, at precisely 10:00 am, the little old lady
appeared with her lawyer at the president's office. She
introduced the lawyer to the president and repeated the bet.

"$525,000 says the president's balls are square!"
The president agreed with the bet again and the old lady
asked him to drop his pants so they could all see. The
president complied. The little old lady peered closely at
his balls and then asked if she could feel them.

"Well, Okay," said the president, "$525,000 is a lot of
money, so I guess you should be absolutely sure."

Just then, he noticed that the lawyer was quietly banging
his head against the wall. The president asked the old lady,
"What the hell's the matter with your lawyer?"

She replied, "Nothing, except I bet him $5,100,000 that at
10:00 am today, I'd have The Bank of Canada's president's
balls in my hand."

If this is true then why do the paths contradict each other?

Buddhism says there is no personal God and everyone can reach god-likeness on their own. Islam says Jesus was just a prophet and not the only way to God. Christianity says there is a personal God and the only way to Him is through Jesus Christ.

Does it seem to you that these paths are all headed in the same direction? Does truth contradict itself?

In 2nd and 3rd test against Pakistan some of the critical l.b.w appeals made by Indian bowlers were turned down by the umpires. Re plays showed that batsmen were plum infront of the stumps. Actually in 3rd test, Simon Toufel must have been the Man of the Match. Because of his wrong decisions match was drawn. Otherwise India could have won the match.

I've been trying to sell my condo for a few months now, but the market is really slow and I'm competing with short sales/forclosures hitting the market at nearly $50K less than what I've listed at. For years now, I have aknowledged that my home is cluttered. Not that bad but pretty bad in some areas of the house and to the point I am embarassed when people come over.
I always had a problem with cleaning sence I was a child and I now am recalling that my father had the same problem.
Everytime I try to clean I get so overwhelmed and depressed and tell myself I will do it later and wont.
My husband does not make the situation any better. He is famous for finding bargans and garbage picking and making the house worse.
I never understood what the heck our problems were that we can't get the energy to clean the place up!!
I just watched something on TLC about something called Hoarding Disorder? I read a little about it and I'm pretty sure we both share the same problem and I didnt know how serious it can get. I'm scared I am leading in that path but Im sure it's safe to say I am a mild case.
Has anyone ever had to deal with this problem before, and if so, how did you handle it?

Bin Laden was a desgruntled employee of the U.S. or so the story goes. The U.S realises what the Bin Laden threat could cause and rather keeps him on the payroll and uses him to slam into the WTC and wreak havoc across the world. I have been with the same guy for 6 yrs now and we really dont have plans to marry. He has issues and I think he hasnt gotten over his past and didnt ever really cope with his divorce. He still has his ex in all his financial business and in all his personal business. Together, they have actually made me pretty unhappy early on. He would like for me to turn a blind eye to his shinnanigans and pretend like I am either stupid or desperate which I am neither. I think my eyes are wide open here.
I am financially on very solid ground and make an excellent salary. He is the same, but money is not everything. We have sex, but not the good kind.
I have no desire to date any more, so I suppose thats why I am still giving him the time of day. I am sick of the way men use and abuse my kindness and think the dating thing is behind me. I dont want to hang out in the singles group and all my friends are married. Any thoughts on this would be appreciated. Are you single and happy and 40?
