Do you TRY to "boost your immune system" by taking "Airborne" or extra vitamin "C" or something?

People tell me that I need a history lesson because "the bible is not 1700 years old!" But it is.

Synod of Hippo in 393 AD is when the Holy Bible was made.

Some people tell me that I need a history lesson because "The Book of Revelation is the last book written!"

But it wasn't. Many books were written after it. (Check it out here http://www.earlychristianwritings.com/ )

Some people tell me I need a History lesson because "The dead sea scrolls aren't scriptures about Jesus and are strictly Old Testament!"

When in all actually they talk about events from 200 BC to 70(ish) AD. And I do admit I may be confused...but wasn't the Gospel of Judas, Gospel of Thomas, etc. found in the cave system??

Originally we had bought 2 puppies, and had to give one of them away cause training both of them at once was just impossible. The puppy that we have now was doing very good at going on some puppy pads that we were told to try, cause everything else just wasn't working. And on top of that the weather outside is absolutely freezing, so we don't want to take her outside when it is often not even 10 degrees and make her sit until she pees. But we seem to be having a problem now that we recently gave the other puppy away...she will only go on the puppy pad sometimes, whereas before she was doing very good. Since it is so cold outside we have decided to train her to go on her puppy pad until she is a little bit older and can endure the cold weather a little bit more. Is this a bad way of training her? And why is it that all of a sudden she has to be almost re-trained after we gave the other puppy away? Any help would be very much appreciated.

Ok help me out here! I go out of my way to do almost anything for my step son who is almost 8 to make him feel special. Don't get me wrong, I make him work for what ever he wants like video games etc by doing chores, and such... but I believe in rewarding a job well done. About 2 years ago I got him a PS2 for xmas (6yrs old now!!) because it was something he really wanted. When he opened it and a few games I had got with it he tossed it down and said that's all I get? Where's the rest of it. NOW this year, I ask him if you got ONE thing for your birthday (which is close to xmas) what would you want. His response.... "I ONLY GET 1 THING!! THATS CRAP" It's not just this, homework is a hassle, bedtime is hell and I am the main disciplinary in our house. So how good does this make me look when I take away his PS2 and empty out his room of everything but a bed. Im the bad guy because his parents don't want to be the bad guy.

My eyes seem to be swollen and old lady looking lately. I heard putting preparation H on them works, but I wouldn't feel comfortable putting butt cream on my face....unless it works of course (;

is anyone else on depo provera to help with endometriosis? i got my first shot about two months ago and i have passed huge blood clots ( mainly after intercourse) and i have cramps so bad that i can't move my legs at all. i litterally have to be carried up the stairs. i am an emotional wreck. i wasn't diagnosed with a stage of endo an i don't know if that is something that could affect it. if anyone else has had reactions (good or bad) i'd like to know.

My husband was married before we met and his ex wife cheated on him. Him and I have been married for 4 years. During the summer we took a vacation and he saw a motorcycle and commented that he liked it. An idea came to me and I decided to get him one for his birthday. I approached my boss and asked for extra hours and was told no. So I got a part time job and never told my husband, all I told him was that I was needed to work extra hours. I wanted to surprise him with the motorcycle. I found a used one as that was all I could afford and had a guy custom paint it and fix it up. I made arrangements for it to be delivered to my husband on his birthday. A few days before his b-day he came home and was mad. He asked where I had been and I told him at work. I was at work earlier that day, at my 2nd job. He told me he had gone to my 1st job to take me out to lunch and I wasn't there and where was I? He accused me of cheating and I told him I am not cheating and he needs to trust me on this.
