My husband was working for himself for 4 months. Each week I took the necessary taxes out and put them in a "business" account. About a month ago he used the money to bail a friend out of jail. Now tax season is fast aproaching and he has nothing to put in for those 4 months. He had a "regular" job before this 4 months and he has one now but for those 3/4 months we owe about $1400.00. Am I going to be held responsible for that as well becasue were married?

Don't you people know how insulting that is to grumps like me who love to be insulted by every positive and caring thing that comes out of people's mouths?

What are you, a bunch of anti-grump bigots? We don't wanna hear it, see it, or even know that it exists. We won't be happy until everybody is walking around grumbling curse words at everybody else and hope they all get strangled on their "Christmas" sugar cookies and poisoned by their mistletoe.

So get with the program, and get as grumpy and grinchy as I am, or else I'll report the lot of you!

I'm guessing the chances of them finding our probes might be astronomical. But if there are objective reasons for finding the areas of "scientific interest" that we've chosen to explore, that would bring them closer to the same general region of the planet. What sorts of observations would they need to make to uncover our by-then ancient probes? Would simple metal detection work? Density scans of the dunes that show something the density of hardened rubber (tires)? What would be the easiest way for them to detect such a thing?

I guess a secondary question might be that if there -is- a practical answer, might that be something -we- would want to consider watching for, so long as it doesn't take too much time, energy or effort away from more likely studies?

The whole Madeline thing stirred up the whole 'leaving your kids alone' thing.

This is my scenareo - I live directly diagonal to the corner store (my house is the fifth one down on the other side of the road - terraces) I have left my baby alone if I need to get some milk or some bread or whatever. I will slip my shoes on, put her in the playpen and will be gone for less than 2 minutes.

The alternative is to get her dressed and etc and a two minute job becomes a 20 minute thing.

I know the down side is if I got hit by a car or whatever crossing the road, no one would know there was a baby alone in the house. To be honest anything else that could happen in that 2 minute window could easily happen when I am upstairs sitting on the toilet and she is in her playpen.

What is your opinion?

I personally love the guy, he is so strong and reliable.
Remeber his game against the Eagles? He was sandwiched by two defenders and his helmet popped off and he kept running.
And at the end of the game against the Lions he was battered and bruised.

own a ford escort zx2 had a problem starting, I put new plugs in it and it ran for a week, then wouldn't start again. put a new set of wires on it and another set of plugs (just to be safe) it started and ran fine for a day or 2 and now this morning it won't start again??? On the statement it shows the loan balance but it shows it with all of the interest added in already and says *Not a payoff balance call for details. So I was wondering how to figure it out myself? It shows total balance of 1100 at 24% interest with 6 mos left. So if I wanted to pay if off right now what would it be?
