own a ford escort zx2 had a problem starting, I put new plugs in it and it ran for a week, then wouldn't start again. put a new set of wires on it and another set of plugs (just to be safe) it started and ran fine for a day or 2 and now this morning it won't start again??? ANY IDEAS on what or why this is happening??

took the plugs that lasted 2 days and cleaned them up a bit ( not really dirty or oily) gonna try them they are bosch super plus ( suppose to fire even in oil) could it be that power pack box acting up? or do they just die? seems funny that it ran great with the new plugs and wires and then won't start this morning. sorry for all the details but i'm trying to give you all the info i can for you to help me Thanks

ok .. i cleaned up the plugs and put them back in and it started and ran like a champ... now i'm puzzled.. do i have a valve cover gasket problem?? i'm gonna let it sit a while and see if it starts. could it be the gasket allowing a little oil and gas to cover the end of the plug causing the no start after it sits all night?? because after running it i can shut it off and it starts right back up?? THANKS for answering my questions because you've all been very helpful in pointing me in the right directions on what to look for and check
