I personally love the guy, he is so strong and reliable.
Remeber his game against the Eagles? He was sandwiched by two defenders and his helmet popped off and he kept running.
And at the end of the game against the Lions he was battered and bruised.
What are your thoughts on him??

I'll never forget that play you just mentioned about him running 35 yards without a helmet and he had a bloody nose also. I think he set some kind of record with that play. Yeah his arms had blood running down them against the Lions, but nothing was stopping that white boy. Definitely one of the toughest tight ends in the league right now.

The toughest is Kevin Everett.

A couple of months ago he broke a bone in his spine. The doctors said he may not live through the first night. They said if he lived, he probably would never walk again.

Two months later and the dude is walking around in the grocery store without a walker.

Tough SOB.

Can Witten top that?

Didn't think so.

Witten
Gates
Gonzales
Clark
all these guys are awesome players...but i have to say witten is on my fantasy team and has gotten me a lot of points...I was sjut happy last week when he lost the fumble but then came back the next drive to score the winning touchdown...He's definitely tough and a great player

Jason Witten is the best tight end in the league.
A. Gates,Tony Gonz.,D. Clark
none of them compare. they can only do one thing. Witten can do 2, catch and block. they are either blocking or receiving tight ends.

I wouldn't argue against you on this point this year, that is for sure. He's been one of the big surprises of the year. Not that anyone expected him to suck, but I doubt anyone outside of Dallas expected him to be the best tight end in the league. I know I didn't. He gave Antonio Gates a run for his money for that title, I think.
