is anyone else on depo provera to help with endometriosis? i got my first shot about two months ago and i have passed huge blood clots ( mainly after intercourse) and i have cramps so bad that i can't move my legs at all. i litterally have to be carried up the stairs. i am an emotional wreck. i wasn't diagnosed with a stage of endo an i don't know if that is something that could affect it. if anyone else has had reactions (good or bad) i'd like to know.

I would ask about other options. I'm not sure about the treatment for endo but I was on depo and it treated me horribly.

I was on depo provera for 2 years for endo and it gave me a lot of relief. I had headaches, depression, and weight gain side effects though. Endo is a tough disease and everyone has different reactions to different drugs. You should maybe look into other options since this doesn't appear to be helping much. Have you had surgery for it yet? That may provide the most relief. I've had 2 laproscopic surgeries and they helped the most. Also, check with the Endometriosis Association to see if there are any support groups in your area. if your in the twin cities or want more info check out endosupport.com.
Best of luck, I know how much it sucks to be in so much pain and not sure what to do.
